Vrbo is a vacation rental platform for booking entire homes, and only entire homes. No shared spaces. No shared hosts. Just one place for you and your group to stay together. Founded in 1995, Vrbo now offers more than 2 million vacation rentals across 190+ countries. From beach houses and cabins to condos and city apartments, Vrbo helps travelers find the right space for trips where privacy, comfort, and connection matter most. What is Vrbo?Vrbo is focused exclusively on entire-home stays, so you book the whole place to yourselves, not a shared room, shared space, or host-occupied home. That matters for travelers who want more privacy, more room, and one home base for family vacations, reunions, and group travel. Vrbo started as Vacation Rentals By Owner and still focuses on helping travelers book entire homes for trips that are better together. Why travelers choose Vrbo Not every trip is best served by a hotel room or a stay with shared spaces. Vrbo is for travelers who want an entire home where they can stay together more comfortably. With a Vrbo vacation rental, travelers can: * stay together under one roof * enjoy privacy with no shared spaces * cook, relax, and connect comfortably * choose a home that fits the way their group wants to travel * spend less time coordinating separate rooms and more time being together That focus is what makes Vrbo different. Unlike platforms that mix shared and private stays, Vrbo is centered on entire homes only. For families and groups, that can mean more privacy, fewer compromises, and more time together. How does Vrbo work?Booking on Vrbo is simple: 1. Search where and when you want to travel 2. Compare vacation rentals, prices, amenities, and reviews 3. Book the entire home that fits your trip Vrbo makes booking feel straightforward, so travelers can spend less time second-guessing and more time looking forward to the trip. Book with confidenceVrbo helps travelers book with confidence through clearer information upfront. Listi

The booking process was user friendly. After receiving confirmation for our stay the host advised “they didn’t update the condo availability “ consequently they approved my booking then advising that the condo was unavailable. Such confusion and disappointment.

Too many extra steps for verified accounts. And I don't want to have to use my phone to verify: I prefer my desktop, so that should be an option.

This is my first time booking on VRBO. I reserved my flight and then booked a condo on your site this morning. I was not supposed to be charged until Dec 28 but was, that's what I thought I read on the site. Additionally I read that Dec 28 was the last day for 100% refund should I need to cancel my booking. I proceeded to confirm medical and dental appointments at my destination but fortunately did not get a chance to pay for my only partially refundable flight. 1 hour later my booking through you was cancelled and refunded. I am left feeling there may be too much risk booking through VRBO that may not be insurable if the owner decides to cancels on their end after accepting payment. Thank you, but not for me.
