VIOFO was built on a simple belief: a dash cam should feel like part of the car—not a bulky gadget—and it should stay reliable, delivering clear evidence when it matters most. At a time when the market was filled with bulky designs, unreliable batteries, and poor video quality, we stepped in to solve the problems others ignored. We moved beyond intrusive suction cups to create compact, discreet dash cams that blend seamlessly into your vehicle. We were among the first to introduce supercapacitor-based models, replacing traditional batteries for greater reliability and safety in extreme heat. And by continuously integrating advanced Sony sensors and HDR technology, we ensure drivers capture clear, dependable footage—day or night.
VIOFO (viofo.com) has 318 customer reviews on The Fair Hearing, with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5.

Contacted technical support to resolve the issue with GPS. The inquiry was handled promptly. After some troubleshooting I was provided with new GPS mount. It worked right away. Using A229 Ultra and quality is excellent with lots of useful features.

Josie. from the customer service department, was fantastic. The assistance with an issue I was having with my front camera was resolved wonderfully! This showed me that VIOFO stands behind there products 100% and will do everything they can to help their customers get full satisfaction with any concerns. Thank you Josie and VIOFO!

Excellent company who gave me a free car battery saver modified for a back up battery on request (I had to pay the postage) I have one of their very first dashcams which is still going strong in the back of our van along with a dual set up in my wife's car. All work well. A point often overlooked but very important in this age of WiFi dashcams is if the company steals your data. A surprising number do but Viofo are rare in not taking any data from you according to a recent (May 2026) review of such

Outstanding customer service support. The department went above and beyond my expectations to accommodate my issue and resolved with lighting speed …outshining by far many companies I have dealt with in the past I Highly recommend purchasing any Viofo product.

They were super helpful in every way. The representative was quick with responses, actually tailored my needs to the situation, and even sent my SD card back that I mistakenly left in. Every customer service department at any company should look at this as a model of how it should be done. First time I felt like a company actually cared about me.

I have the Viofo A229+. I have owned other dash cams in the past, but none compare to the Viofo. The quality of the image is excellent, and the interface is very easy to use. I had an issue with one of the parts, and the customer service team was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend Viofo.
