I am in the process of transitioning into a 55-plus community, where only Service and Emotional Support dogs are permitted. I have decided to pursue the Emotional Support designation. This decision stems from a traumatic incident I experienced as a Realtor, and the emotional support my dog provides has become invaluable. My well-trained Pit Bull accompanying me seamlessly in various environments due to my work. Prior to obtaining the Emotional Support tag, my dog has been an integral part of my daily life, accompanying me everywhere I go. I anticipate that obtaining the Emotional Support designation will facilitate a smooth transition into the community, allowing me to continue benefiting from the emotional support my dog provides.
