I purchased a Turbro 18k mini split for my summer place. I purchased directly from Turbro website and the price was excellent. I installed the unit with minimal effort, fired it up and it cooled nicely. After the fact I had a couple of issues for which I had to contact customer support. I cannot say enough about the quality and professionalism of their response. They responded quickly via email and resolved this issues almost immediately. One of the best support teams I have dealt with. I would especially like to give kudos to April, who handled everything for me. She’s the best!

The customer service is amazing and sets the bar for others to follow. I had a minor issue that I needed help with. I contacted customer service and they replied promptly. They completely understood my issue and took action immediately to correct the problem.

Company came through where amazon utterly failed. Quick response times to emails paired with an immediate resolution made for a perfect experience.

I had bought the turbro MS12 misting fan from Home Depot and it came defective. After easy emails back and forth with the customer service to show proof of damage and receipt they were quick to send me a completely brand new one. Also checked in on everything afterwards. Top notch customer service and will highly recommend to everyone I know. Thanks again for everything.

I had the interior portion of the greenland.Inverter unit stop working in my rv. I called customer service after buying it a year ago. And they sent me a new unit, I replaced it. Everything worked great. I can't say enough. all the mini split units i'm buying are going to be turbro. Thankyou!!!!

So, honestly, I bought the turbro mini split for the price tag. Upon installing everything worked as it should. The mini split was used to cool a shipping container in texas heat. It did a good job unit it leaked all the freon out. I wasn't happy 😕 but I called an HVAC Tech that I had used before on my house ac. He found the leak pretty quickly upon inspection of the evap coils. After some pressure testing and some documentation sent to turbro, they replaced the unit. They say you pay for what you get, but the turbro brand not only has a good price tag, they stand behind their manufacturer warranty.

The install instructions were very clear and “point on.” The only improvement I’d suggest is adding a few more pictures to make certain installation steps easier to visualize. On performance, the unit cools great in hot temperatures. Heating performance still needs more time to evaluate since cold-weather testing hasn’t happened yet. Installation Notes + What Actually Happened Customer service was the main issue—not the product itself. At first, customer service didn’t seem to understand my problem or what I needed to complete the install. Once I explained that I purchased the unit through Amazon, the tone changed and support became less actionable. The specific need in my case was not a missing standard part that arrived later—it was that my install required an extra “sponge” material to complete the fit properly. When I didn’t receive it in time, the packing sponge I had on hand from the shipment became the solution. I created a part out of the extra packing sponge to complete the installation, and I used it in place of what was needed to finish the job correctly. As of the review I still haven’t heard from them regarding the back order. Customer Service Review (Corrected) Customer service may not be immediately helpful if they don’t clearly understand your specific issue at the start. In my case, they seem to be they didn’t care after I clarified the Amazon purchase, and even then the needed item was tied up by back-order. Final Verdict I recommend purchasing this unit for its cooling performance and solid, accurate installation instructions. Just go in knowing that customer service support may not move quickly at first, and if you rely on replacement parts, there’s a chance you could run into back-order timelines. Overall: great cooling product—plan ahead for install supplies/parts support in case customer service is slow to resolve your exact need.
