I really found a lot of useful information in this course. I was very excited about being part of a cohort via facebook, so I could also learn from others. This was a bit of a disappointment. Other students were posting about modules way ahead of schedule. I didn't feel the teachers were very responsive to the posts. But the course content, particularly the spreadsheets, was very good, if you are a good independent learner.

I've been doing genealogical research for almost 40 years, and getting help breaking down a research "brick wall" was worth the money to me. My genealogical research was completed in just over one year from the time the researcher was selected. I received several updates usually about two months apart, monthly would have been nicer just to know progress was being made. The researcher went "above and beyond" the research scope, which I appreciate. I discovered the name of my ancestor's parents, which was a nice addition to that family tree. After receiving my final report and reading through it, I did make a suggestion that if further information outside the "contractual agreement" is needed, they should have asked me, or let me know if other information would assist the researcher.

Communication was very clear with updates as each step was completed. They had clearly read my background information and knew what I was looking for. Will was also clear in setting appointments for call and following up.

You provided the information requested by me in a timely manner. You updated me every step along the way.

I had hit a brick wall in my ancestry research, and had given up. Trace was able to find definitive information about my ancestors that I had been unable to obtain. Overall, I'm very happy with their service. I think it's a little expensive for the amount of information that I got, but it's on par with similar geneological research organizations. I highly recommend it.

I received everything I asked for. It did not completely answer all of my questions but brought me much closer to an answer. Since everything was in German, I appreciated a summary at the end.

Will was a wonderful guide in gathering info from me to attempt me finding where in Ireland/England my ancestors are from.I have decided to continue my own journey, with a cousin,to find this info. Will did not try to push me to purchase the proposal, but did let me know if I change my mind to contact Trace.

I got what I asked for. Great report and proofs provided. I have the information, but I still don’t know anything about the man I asked about. I already had much of the information without some of the records that I didn’t know how to get. I don’t know where the bio father was living or working when I was conceived. There just wasn’t much about him in the report. After I submitted all my info to Trace, I discovered additional information that would have helped. I was promised updates and contact every couple weeks or so, but never got it. Even after contacting Trace twice and being told someone would get back to me. I have pictures of my probable half brothers, provided by a DNA consultant on Facebook, but not my bio father. That volunteer DNA consultant gave me the same info overnight, based on the DNA strings and segments. Even that my 1232cM match to Martha Schubbe Smetanka was as a half-aunt and likely the daughter of Michael’s older brother, Barney. I know you research based off the information i provided. Thank you for the report. I am still in the same place today as I was $4200 ago. Although I DO appreciate how you linked me to all the cousins with whom I have been in communication. All in all, I think I know more now than I did.
