APPALLING. AVOID USING. MY HITACHI SMART TV UPDATED THE SOFTWARE & ADDED TIVO AS MU MAIN PROGRAM. ALL MY APPS HAVE DISAPPEARED. NOT ALL PROGRAMS ARE THERE. SPOKE WITH HELP DESK & NOTHING THEY CAN DO. UTTER GARBAGE. DO NOT UPDATE WITH TIVO. AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I have been a loyal TiVo subscriber since the very beginning and currently own several boxes. The primary reason I stayed with TiVo all these years—and paid for lifetime subscriptions—was for the commercial skip feature. Now, they are stripping away a core feature I already paid for and hiding it behind an additional monthly paywall. It is an incredibly dirty move that completely disregards their most loyal, long-term customers. I will never buy another TiVo device again. Once my current boxes stop working, I am done with TiVo forever.

I wanted a Wifi device with the means to access freely. What I got was a device seeking to glean every bit of information about me and how I live. Indeed I cannot get the device to kickstart.Waste of money. Did I say you have to stay near the remote otherwise you don't have time to stop the shut off of your TV. UPDATE: Now 19/7/26 Manhattan version good for picture but ZERO SOUND . Avoid !!!

We bought a Panasonic TV that uses TiVo. It's truly awful and I regret buying this TV every time I use it!

Tivo changes their policies without notifying you via email, or mail. They expect that you will see the changes online in their portal Box service. However, if you don't have access to your box, because your TIVO box is broken (mine was) or your cable company won't support them (mine won't), there is no way you would know. Specifically, they started charging my card, monthly after I paid for lifetime service. I did not have access to their service, they would not refund the money. This would be fraud as they are charging without permission. Why would anyone want to do service with a company 1) who ASSUMES you have access to their information, 2) Can get the same service for free from your cable company. 3) Changes the terms of the service after paying for lifetime. BYE BYE Tivo, you were great in the beginning, when you allowed us to record and then skip commercials, but now you are antiquated and worthless.

Tivo app for smart TV is useless and there is no support , it is rubbish that was forced on our TV . Tivo should hire people that can fix this as this should be reported to ofcom for low lvl service that is not acceptable Crash Restart No connection App not responding App not working Low app store ...

Soon has you do updates all tvs in my house keep crashing , if you don't know how to fix things don't mess with them , absolutely useless

the worst customer service ever. long waits for help. repeated issues that never get solved and the biggest is that they cancelled the annual 69 dollar plan for a monthly program at 14 dollar a month. this is because they want to leave the DVR field so they jack the price so it is not affordable. i would really love to see a class action lawsuit, i would join it in an instant. AVOID THESE CORRUPT THIEVES AT ALL COSTS
