The Curly Canvas services only curly hair. I have ten years of experience working with curly hair of all kinds, in New York City, at the Devachan salon. I'm a Devacurl level 3 certified master stylist, which means I completed the highest level of curl expertise. I'm looking to work with any curly haired clients that want to deepen their knowledge of curl pattern care, product knowledge and application, and how to use products with purpose. Or if you just want to have a new curly style. I am available to anyone who needs care, inspiration, knowledge, and experience to make your curls reach their fullest potential.

Had my first appointment with Lidia to help tame and style my curly hair and it couldn’t have been better! She taught me how to properly wash and style my hair to really bring the curls out and gave me little tips along the way. Already can’t wait to go back!

Lidia was a an excellent stylist and patient teacher. I have never seen my hair look healthier and curlier and she gave me step by step instructions on how to achieve the same results at home.

I am very disappointed with my last visit, a trim/shape. My curls are so short, my hair is at the bottom of my ears. Definitely way to short for my preference! And I do not like the stacked curls in the back.

Leeann, I'm sorry you didn't like your cut. While I couldn't make your hair grow faster, I did offer you weekly complimentary hairstyling to ensure it looks its best as it grows out. This offer is always available if you change your mind. I hope you take me up on it, and I see you again soon.
Lidia was wonderful! She asked a lot of questions and listened to my answers and made great suggestions. She took a lot of time carefully cutting my hair. I’ve never had such service. I’ll definitely be back to Tease!!!
