The Curly Canvas services only curly hair. I have ten years of experience working with curly hair of all kinds, in New York City, at the Devachan salon. I'm a Devacurl level 3 certified master stylist, which means I completed the highest level of curl expertise. I'm looking to work with any curly haired clients that want to deepen their knowledge of curl pattern care, product knowledge and application, and how to use products with purpose. Or if you just want to have a new curly style. I am available to anyone who needs care, inspiration, knowledge, and experience to make your curls reach their fullest potential.

Lydia explained everything my daughter needed to do to care for and look great in her curly hair. She also told her to text her anytime with questions and knew more about curly hair than anyone I know.

I had an incredible cut with Lidia. She put me at ease and took the extra time to teach me how she brought out the best in my curls along the way. I’m now working on styling my curls at home for that post-salon look all thanks to her! My hair has never felt lighter or bouncier.

Lidia was terrific. She educated me on the best way to maximize my curl with my type of hair. I have wavy to curly hair and I was weighing it down with the wrong products. She cut my hair in a way that really flatters my face. I am really happy with it. I definitely will be returning.

Lidia is absolutely amazing! She answered all of my questions, was patient when showing me how to properly do things for my hair, and is all around just great at what she does! I have wavy hair and she did amazing with it. I’m absolutely in love with the styling and haircut! My hair has never looked better<3
