Shipping issues and broken promises

Haven’t received our order yet. The owner did offer us a discount. At this point we’re in a “wait and see” phase. We cannot for the life of us understand this response from the owner. He offered us a discount and then after we accepted he wants to cancel our order. The entire experience has been nuts. All we wanted was some help with our order. We’re still waiting for our order. Hopefully it will arrive after the new year. Fingers crossed. Update: our shipment did arrive almost 3 weeks later. The owner still has not made good on his offer to give us any of our money back. It’s just disappointing to work with a company that doesn’t value its own word. Their website clearly states 5 to 7 days for delivery, and that’s the main reason we chose them.

Response from Sun Valley Saunas· Dec 27, 2023

Justin - You ordered your sauna on December 15. I am writing this on December 27. Your sauna shipped via XPO Logistics on December 18. We sent you tracking information when it shipped out. It should have been delivered last week, but XPO has had a big delay and I'm sorry that your sauna hasn't been delivered. Today, via e-mail, I offered to give you a $400 refund or to cancel your order and give you a full refund. I also called you earlier today. You didn't answer so I left a voicemail. You told me if I don't give you the $400 refund you will keep your one-star review here. I told you I think it's best that we cancel your order and give you a full refund at this point. You sent an incredibly threatening email to me and told me you were going to come after me. This is all because your sauna delivery has been delayed. For anybody reading this - I have emails from Justin Lockwood that I am happy to share if you're concerned about ordering from us. He has threatened me and it's gone way beyond anything I've ever experienced with any other customer.
