The art we recieved was a great way to memorialize the dog we lost. The artists made a great adaptation of one of our favorite pictures of him and the final art looks fantastic.

Thank you for trusting us with something so meaningful. We’re honored to have helped turn a favorite photograph into a lasting tribute, and we hope it keeps his memory close for many years to come. - The Story In Steel Team
It took way too long from the time the order was placed to the time it was delivered and there was absolutely no communication unless you reached out and asked why there was a delay. They wanted you to proof the order right away but it took over a month to be delivered. I was about to file a case with my bank for fraud due to the delay and lack of communication. I will never order from here again.

We’re truly sorry. Your order should not have taken this long, and you should never have been left without clear updates. This is not the experience we aim to provide. We’re investigating what caused the delay and the breakdown in communication, and we will contact you directly to see how we can make this right. - The Story In Steel Team
I absolutely loved the finished product. That was a 5 out of 5 for sure! The issue I have is that there should be more than one progress update. It’s true, the information does state that the process could take up to 15 days with additional time delivery time. However, an additional update as to where things stand during this time would be very helpful, especially since there doesn’t appear to be a convenient way to inquire about it. Thanks for noting… Again an excellent product!

We’re thrilled the finished piece earned a 5 out of 5. You’re also absolutely right. Knowing the expected timeframe is not the same as being kept informed throughout it. We appreciate the thoughtful feedback and are taking it seriously as we improve how customers can follow their artwork from approval to delivery. - The Story In Steel Team
The art I ordered arrived and it is beautiful! So well made and a faithful rendition of the photo I submitted. The frame is also beautiful! The process was so easy- with terrific communication at every step. I will certainly order again from the Story in Steel team again.

Knowing you would choose us again is the highest compliment we could receive. We’re thrilled your portrait captured the original photo so beautifully, and we’ll be honored to create your next Story in Steel! - The Story In Steel team
Great customer service! They answered all my questions along the way. The product itself is perfect! Made by a real artist - not AI! We are so happy with it. I wish I had paid more to get the frame but it still looks great!

That human touch is at the heart of Story in Steel. Every portrait is carefully created by a real artist, and we’re so glad both the finished piece and the care along the way made you happy. Thank you for choosing us! - The Story In Steel team
Ordered a portrait on Aug 4th, portrait was approved on August 5th. August 25 recieved email that product was shipped. Given order # only no tracking #. When you try to follow the tracking app on the website it shows shipping label created for 30 days. Unable to track package. Multiple email attempts and all I get is a generic message. I'm thinking I got scammed. Beware UPDATE- Recieved the portrait and I must say it looks great.very happy with the end result. A representative finally reached out and apologized for the significant delay. Definitely recommended, just give yourself three times the allowance for delivery. Especially if its for a special occasion.

Thank you for returning to update your review. We’re delighted you love your portrait and deeply appreciate your recommendation. The finished piece reflects the standard we aim for, but the journey to receive it did not. You should never have been left wondering whether your order would arrive, and we’re truly sorry our communication caused that uncertainty. - The Story In Steel team
Excellent quality and precise design. It was definitely worth it.

“Worth it” is one of the best compliments we can receive. Custom art asks you to trust us before the finished piece exists, and we’re grateful you did. - The Story in Steel team
I bought this as a wedding anniversary and my wife loved it. The artist did a great job capturing the photo. 10/10 i do recommend.
