Honestly didn't know what to expect but SOS really came through. My AC blower went bad and I was dreading the repair bill. They took care of it without giving me any trouble. Smooth process and friendly people on the phone.

Worst warranty company ever! The process to get the warranty..easy… it’s cheap for a reason. They do not cover what they say they will. Their customer service is total garbage, sitting on hold for over 40 minutes is the regular. They have no information and truly do not care about their clients. There is a reason they have a clause in the contracts stating you can’t sue them for more than $5,000. Trust me when I say they would be bankrupt if the right lawyer came along. Have a problem with your car? The problem is a cover failure of the mechanical system…yeah they won’t cover it, it’s too much or ‘caused by wear and tear’. Wait wait wait, but it’s a mechanical failure that is covered… they say ‘good luck we aren’t doing anything for you even though you purchased this warranty ’. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY - go any where else.

We take feedback seriously and have reviewed this account in detail. The claim referenced in this review was submitted within the first 30 days of coverage. As clearly outlined in the service contract — and standard across extended service agreements, there is a 30-day waiting period before claims become eligible. This provision exists to prevent pre-existing conditions and applies to all policyholders. Because the claim was filed during the waiting period, it was not eligible for coverage under the agreement. All claim determinations are made strictly based on the repair facility’s diagnosis and the terms of the contract. Was a customer for about one year. Had a claim for an alternator that was went bad because there was an oil leak dripping on to it. So replacing it without fixing the leak would not solve anything. They denied the claim completely. I asked for a refund which they offered right away minus the one year. I accepted as they said they would have the check mailed out that day. It's now 7 weeks later, 7 phone calls into them - a fake fed-ex tracking number and no refund.

We take claim reviews and customer concerns very seriously. In this case, the repair facility advised that the alternator required replacement. Based on the diagnosis provided, the alternator replacement was eligible for coverage and authorization was offered. Regarding the mention of an oil leak, active fluid leaks are generally considered maintenance-related conditions and are not covered under extended service contracts, including ours. Additionally, the servicing advisor did not document an active leak requiring repair at that time. When cancellation was requested, a prorated refund calculation was provided the same day, in accordance with the terms of the agreement. After one year of active coverage, a full refund is not applicable under the contract. We understand not every outcome aligns with expectations, but the matter was handled in accordance with the policy terms. Everything perfect about them. SOS Auto Protect made the entire process of getting extended coverage for my car incredibly easy. Their team clearly explained my options, helped me choose the right protection plan, and handled my claim quickly when my alternator went out. Great service, fair pricing, and very professional. I wasn't sure what to expect because warranty stuff usually stress me out, but SOS actually made things simple. The rep I talked to, Jordan, was patient with me and made sure the sop got everything they needed. The repair ended up being a lot more expensive than I thought and SOS covered it without arguing or delaying anything. Honestly relived I signed up when I did.

My daughter told me to finally get a warranty and I’m glad I went with SOS. The gentleman I spoke with was patient and explained everything clearly. When my alternator quit working they paid the shop right away. Very grateful for how simple they made things.
