Food is decent, but the part that gets me is in the name. “Drive-in” more like drive through. Everytime I have went to our local location in Opelika they have told us to go through the drive through. When I do online ordering it takes 15 minutes minimum.

I didn’t even want to leave a 1 star review but I had no choice but to. This is the SECOND time we have tried to give sonic a try. First time we got told they weren’t accepting any money the system was “down” & the lady was outside on her cellphone smoking. (10.07.26). Now, again we were in Athens so we tried to give them another try. We pulled up to the self order, pushed the button 4 times to take our order NOTHING was said to us. As I was standing there waiting for someone to take our order the 2 that I could see in the window were just looking at me, (the male cook I believe) was standing in the window EATING & looking at us. Someone could have EASILY said excuse me come to the drive thru if they felt the need they couldn’t have taken my order from the pull in drive thru order screen, I wouldn’t have no problem doing that but it was easier for me to order there due to I had a lot of orders to order for my family. so we took our business elsewhere since it wasn’t wanted there! Really don’t even know how the location is even still open it hardly ever has business which really I should have known better to even try to give it any business tonight! Hopefully the place can get better employees in who actually care enough to even GREET SOMEONE. GOOD LUCK! & I really hope this reaches the right person & actually might do something about it. 10.15.26 around 8:45-9:00pm (black male & white female working) ATHENS GA ATLANTA HWY.

Terrible service there is only two people in that store that are nice Ms.Cat and Mrs.Terri the new AGM is disgusting and a horrible person for someone that use to work there the inside is disgusting black mold EVERYWHERE imagine your fries get dropped on the floor and they scoop them up and still serve them DISGUSTING! This place needs to be SHUTDOWN or a better AGM needs to be in place PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SICK the AGM Landon has a nasty way of speaking about people or talking to people I beg of you STAY AWAY

I used to go to Sonic and get a breakfast sandwich and coffee. No more. The breakfast sandwich now uses cheap sausage, cheap cheese and a smashed egg with lots of salt to cover the bad taste. Coffee? good luck. Our local Sonic no longer serves fresh coffee. They will sell you a bottled coffee which has cream and sugar already in it. (I want plain black coffee.) I've complained to Sonic headquarters and their response is "we'll contact the district manager. I've complained many times over three years. Nothing has changed. Friends have also quit Sonic for similar apathetic reasons.

We were just about to the speaker and just quietly waiting. The girl asks for our order. We heard her fine, I started to give my order, she comes back and says"I CANT HEAR YOU I SAID OK, AND STARTED TO REPEAT MY ORDER. THEN SHE YELLS I CANT HEAR YOU , I SAID OK I PULL UP C OK OSER SO WERE RIGHT IN FRONT OF IT. SHE YELLS IT AGAIN I CANT HEAR YOU, CANT YOU SEE THE SPEAKER BOX ??? I SAID IM RIGHT IN FRONT OF IT. SHE YELLS I CANT HEAR YOU ,USE COMMON SENCE A D SPEAK ITNO THE SPEAKER. I WAS LIKE AND MY ADULT DAUGHTER SITTING WITH ME , SAID WE ARE RIGHT IN FRONT OF IT. . SHE THEN CALLED ME A STUPUD BI**H, AND TOO STUPID TO USE A DRIVE THRIU. WE WERE LIKE WTF. AERIIUSLY WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER. WE DRIVE AWAY. CALLED AND THE SAME GIRL ANSWERED THE PHONE. I SAID I WANT TO TALK TO THE.MANNAGER. SHE SAID SHE WAS AND WE ARE STUPID. I CLEARLY TOLD HER WAY TO GET OFF. VERY RUDE. AND VERY TRASH LIKE. AND VERY MUCH A WAIST OF ANYONES TIME. SONIC USE TO BE A FUN PlACE TO BRING TO GRAND BABIES, BUT NOW JUST A TRASHY PLACE WHERE THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS. VERY SAD FOR THEM.

I went to the Tontitown AR Sonic. Craving chicken tenders but the local restaurant didn't answer their phone so SONIC it was. It was 10/8, Thursday, about 1pm. They weren't busy. The 3 other cars that pulled in after me got drinks. I ordered a 3 piece tender meal. Didn't mind waiting for my order because it was being made fresh. The tenders were Dry and HARD...somebody forgot they were in the fryer. Might want to get a different cook. On the upside the fries were great. I left a 2 star instead of a 1 because the girl working the window was very nice and friendly.

I had the worst experience at the Hixson Tennessee sonic I got delivery and most of food was missing and cold when I received it. I called sonic headquarters and ask for a manager of that store to call me back , 3 times and no one ever did . They don’t care about how they serve their food or customers. Avoid avoid avoid .
