The only gate i could find that would span our very large stairs. It is so nice to be able to completely open it to carry in groceries as things from the front door!

Another advantage you mentioned is its ability to “disappear,” as it is only 3.5-inches in diameter when retracted. Great item! We have 2 of these and they are easy to open and close. They keep our brood exactly where we want them!
