I had a small leak in my Freestone waders that I purchased one year ago, I called customer service and they were most helpful. I couldn't ask for better service. I explained I was in the middle of steelhead season and worried about how long I'd have to wait or what hoops I'd have to jump through. No problem so easy and and helpful. I talked to them on Tuesday and had new waders on Friday. Now that's excellent service. Simms customer for life. Good job guys. Total satisfaction. Tim Peterson

Had multiple holes and rips in my waders and sent them into Simms for a a repair on Thursday, came back with a brand new pair by Sunday, no charge. Super impressed and was honestly not expecting to be. Got a customer for life!

I bought a pair of waders from them 4 or 5 years ago. They were a baseline pair, I used them quite a bit for someone who is not a guide. They developed a few leaks over the years and started delaminating. I took them to the mobile repair van Simms had travelling around this summer. They were not able to completely fix them there due to the delamination of the fabric. however they started a warranty repair claim for me, and sent me a brand new set. The customer service I received was above and beyond what I expected. I've seen a lot of negative reviews recently so I didn't expect much. However I was quite surprised by the service I received. No exchanges for wrong sizing. Women's sizing runs small for the bugstopper hoodie. Product was on sale when purchased online at Simms. They were unable to match initial purchase price, note: there's a small box to check at checkout to avoid return fees. Customer service was able to give a 20% discount, but only when pressed hard at the end of the conversation. Overall purchase, return, repurchase and fees ended up being 40$ more than initial purchase plus the hassel and frustration.

Longtime guide here, I miss the old Simms. Not sure what has happened however the last 2 years our community has seen a major quality concern and a communication concern with their waders, our Outfitter has turned to another company

I contacted Simms customer support regarding women’s waders that do not fit me, despite my measurements being very typical. I wear a 6.5 shoe, size 12 pants, and have a 46-inch girth with a bit of extra room for a hoodie or zip-up layer. None of Simms’ women’s waders accommodate this size. This is a major oversight. Women of my size are common, yet Simms’ women’s gear appears to be designed for a narrow body type. Meanwhile, Men’s gear accommodates much larger bodies, so this isn’t a technical limitation; it’s a design choice. That imbalance is frustrating and exclusionary, especially for a brand positioned as a leader in fishing apparel. I emailed my measurements to customer support over a month ago and never received a response. Instead, I was sent a customer survey. The lack of follow-up reinforces the impression that women who fall outside limited sizing aren’t a priority. If Simms wants to support women in sport fishing, it needs to expand women’s sizing and improve customer support responsiveness.

Great Customer Service After reading the reviews blasting Simms for their level of service, I felt compelled to leave a review based on my experience. I had some wader boots fail, put a claim in, took pictures, marked the XXXX and threw them in the garbage. I called Simms to follow up to make sure they received the pictures. Someone answered the phone who was unbelievably pleasant and extremely helpful. They are sending me new boots free of charge. One last item...I asked if they could expedite the shipping but they set the expectation of a week or two, no worries. 3 days later, the boots showed up on my porch. Best experience I've had with customer service in a long time.

This review is for the "new Simms" which is absolutely terrible. Customer service is non-existent and awful. A lot of us here in Ontario will be changing brands now because of all of these terrible customer service experiences. This company doesn't stand behind their products. Imagine not giving warranty to a Simms G4 Pro jacket. Patagonia would never do that!
