I bought an LCD TV on shopdigitalonline.com and received the online confirmation in my email but after two business days the order hadn't filled. I called them and they told me I had to pay an extra $118.00 for shipping insurance. This was not listed on my invoice. I remained calm and asked to speak with a manager. The person I was on the phone with said "I am the manager and I'm cancelling your order" and hung up on me. Don't shop here!

One star on the review is actually one star too many. Not only do they (Henry, sales guy and apparent owner) ship the TV late (over 2 weeks from the time of purchase despite saying they ship that product in 1-2 days, oh, and they would have delivered it quicker if I wanted to buy one of their scam warranties) but they deliver it broken. Their shipper does not even follow their own promises either, as the shipper promised, multiple times, to be sure I was home for the delivery. Instead they seemed to expect that my wife could open, unbox, lift out, setup and confirm that the large, and pretty heavy,TV was not broken, all while the shipper would not wait. (I guess it should not be a surprise that a scam online company uses shady shippers. DBSCHENKER (sp?)) They (Elliot the customer service mgr) promise to get a new one out by the next week and take the old one back. When I call on that in the next week, they then ask for pictures of the damage (and the damage is quite obvious along with the TV not working), and now are adding a couple more weeks onto getting the TV resent out while they wait on the insurance. They argue that they don't want to be paying for 2 TV's at once, but that argument is just wrong considering they already charged my credit card for the TV so I am the only one with money on the table and no actual product. I have no doubt that this company will change names soon enough and rack up more miserable reviews under a new name. Thank goodness that credit card companies provide protection.

i ordered 4 tv's . they told me i would recirve then in 21 days . i still didnot recieve them in 42 days. i cancelled my order. it has been 8 days since i cancelled my order and they still have not refunded my money to me . they keep lying to me that they have refunded my credit card but my bank says that they have not yet. on top of this they told me that they are keeping 6% for cancelling the order even though the reason i cancelled was because they did not deliver on time like they said they would. this company and the people that work are flat out crooks. donot ever buy anything from this company. i am also turing them into the better business bueral.

I ordered a Sharp Aquos LC52D65U Television from this company around July 15th of this year. One week later, the television arrived. Everything seemed to be in working condition. As I was plugging components into the TV, I noticed that the part number was actually an LC5255U, different than the one I ordered. I checked the shipping manifest and the website, and the 55U was nowhere to be found on their site. According to the shipping manifest, I had an LC52D65U. When I called them to rectify the situation, they first explained that the 55U was the same as the 65U. Anticipating this, I had the specifications of both televisions up and explains that they were NOT in fact the same. The sales rep then offered to give me a $50 discount, which I declined. He then stated that they could exchange the television for the proper model. I was put on hold, and he then came back and told me that there were none in stock and offered a $100 discount. I told him I wanted a refund. I was put on hold again and then the manager, Henry, spoke with me. He also tried to tell me that the two models were the same. I explained that they weren't. He then told me that he bought a bunch of 65U's from Sharp, and they sent him a Walmart version, the 55U. I told him that I didn't care. I ordered a 65U and I wanted a 65U. He then offered me a $200 discount, which I declined. He stated my only option was a refund, which I accepted. I was put on hold, and the sales rep answered, stating that some 65U's would be in in 10 to 12 business days. I agreed to wait for the 65U to arrive. It has been 15 business days, and no television is in stock. I have now asked for a refund. I believe that they have no intention of rectifying this situation. To make matters worse, I had a friend call and inquire as to the availability of the 65U (which they show as being in stock on their Web site), and they told him that they had some in stock. I searched on the internet for only 5 star companies to purchase from. I had a HORRIBLE experience with this company. I really think they have gone out of business. The last good comment was on November 18, 2008. I am assuming the economy has taken a toll on this company. I ordered a Nikon D80 that the website said was in stock, I quickly get a automated email from someone saying it was backordered and wouldn't be in for 3-4 weeks. I tried to cancel the order. I sent 7 emails to 4 different addresses on their website and I tried to call them 4 times. Each time I tried to call I got a response saying to call a new number. Which I did and got a long distance provider's number. PLEASE CALL FIRST to make sure you will not be SCAMMED like I have been. They of course have all of my credit card information and I am scared to death of what they could do with that! DON'T BELIEVE this 5 star rating anymore!!!! Maybe in November they were great, in March 2009, they are NON existent!!
