Our experience was mixed. The crew worked very hard and (with one major exception) had a great attitude. They worked were quick and the entire move was finished within a day as planned. The major issue throughout the day was the “foreman” in charge. He had a terrible attitude throughout the day. This may have partly been because of a miscommunication between the estimator and him, but there really was no good excuse for this attitude. The most important items arrived intact (e.g., a piano). However, several pieces of furniture were damaged and we have not had time to look into repairs. We were also charged (we learned after the fact, which we feel was poor business practice) for some packing materials even though they picked them up a day or so later and will use them again with future clients.

Impressed with how wellcordinate well.However we lost quiet a few things. I do'nt know where they went it appears one box(?) is missing. Regards, Charles Chung

Not enough care with some items, including a cedar chest of family archives. Moved lots of furniture and belongings without scratching or punching holes in the walls. Worked quickly and got the job done within time estimates. Kitchen dishes and glasses moved without breakage, but they were not careful enough in packing up and delivering other boxes of smaller items, including desk drawers, dressers and similar. We discovered one garden tool missing that definitely wasn't packed and wasn't missing beforehand.

The movers worked hard and did a good job, however the company seemed to greatly underestimate the manpower needed for our move. We had a person come to see our home and provide an estimate and he did not properly take into account the number of people we had in our family. They only sent 4 movers when they should have sent more. The job took over 12 hours for a local move. It was frustrating to still have movers working past 10pm and when they left they were not able to finish assembling our couch. I had to do that myself the next day.

Lots of items damaged due to poor handing. Did not wrap headboard, broke most plastic containers, overcharged supplies ($70 worth of papers to wrap very little kitchen items, poor packing sense).

Job was rushed both times Movers did not get all items and just felt so rushed that I felt bad to ask for adjustments to furniture placements Not enough movers - 2 for a 3k sq foot house was not enough and I felt bad for them I expected more from Shamrock
