After learning his trade at another local mover, along with his wife Barbara, Bob Fallon started Shamrock with one truck and a mission: “Take care of the customer and the customer will take care of you.” We now operate almost 30 vehicles with about 45 employees across 3 locations, and move over 3,000 people a year. I said I needed unpacking very clearly. They unpacked some , charged more, promised to come back. They didn’t. After complaint they sent 4 for an hour. They opened boxes and dumped it all on the floor. A week later I am still in a mess trying to sort it out.

Very rough handling this time. Last time, different guys with the same company was such a delight. I had requested for the previous crew but didn’t get them. This time we had boxes filled with shoes, books, hats, bagpacks and gym clothes, and internet access points all in the same box. Who does that? Half the time, I had noticed that while they were packing, they would clean out a cabinet but leave items behind which I had to collect later. They didn’t know that they had to clean out the fridge and the freezer in the end and was not too happy when reminded. Two soft drawers of one of my cabinets are missing. When asked, they hadn’t a clue. Said, they would be inside some box. Wine bottles were kept on top of wine glasses. It is a miracle that the glasses didn’t break. What I had noticed this time with the crew headed by Victor was that they were always in a hurry. Peeps were nice but their work wasn’t great. Very disappointed this time.

Charged for 2 hours of loading truck from storage unit, which seems very unlikely it took that amount of time given everything took only 40-45 min to get off the truck once at my apartment. Then they also charged for driving to and from the location (took them 30 minutes but they estimated 45 minutes). So almost 4 hours of time charged that really seemed like a scam. Actual time to unload and put together furniture was only about 2 hours, but got charged 6 hours of labor.
