Worst SCAM I've ever fell victim to. Purchased after being promised they cover practically everything. When I had issues, they made excuses not to pay out. Want to cancel, no responses. Taking your money and waiting and waiting till it depletes where they don't have to pay or pay minimum back without them approving anything! BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT PURCHASE THEM! I would've purchased Endurance but they didn't cover the vehicle. Should've just not covered it. $2500 later, I'm being ignored when I want to cancel.

Refund check never received for policy #8590803 platinum coverage insurance. The operators put me on hold. Agent John Davis and Michelle Smith could not find the check info. I cancelled 6/25/24 halfway through the policy and was supposed to get $1000 refund back. I had to be over relaxed with a lot of money at stake. Geico has refunded my account on time and is very reliable but not Select Auto Protect. I think this company has misplaced my refund money and now that it is not in my account, I wonder if one of the agents has put my refund amount $1000 into their account.

paid $2500 for a platinum coverage...water pump went out...took it to the shop and they repaired but Select Auto Warrantee refused to pay a single penny of the $1200 repair. They also refused to cover a previous exhaust system repair, though the salesman sold it as a platinum bumper to bumper policy...don't believe it! This company ruined me on non-dealer warrantees...never again.

I PAID MY POLICY IN A SINGLE PAYMENT FOR $2500 AND PURCHASED THE PLATINUM WHICH COVERED ANY DAMAGE TO MY CAR FOR APPROXIMATELY 98% AND THE DEALER TIMOTHY COOKS WHO ATTENDED ME GUARANTEED ALL THIS. BUT AFTER 2 AND A HALF MONTHS MY VEHICLE BREAKDOWN, THE COMPOSITION FOR THE DAMAGED PART WAS GOING TO BE EXPENSIVE AND THEY SENT ME MY CONTRACT TO SIGN (THEY SAID THAT ONLY THAT WAS MISSING) SO THEY ORDERED MY CAR TO BE FIXED. IT TOOK MORE THAN 4 DAYS FOR THEM TO TELL ME THAT THEY DID NOT COVER IT AND NOW I WAITING FOR MY FULL REFUND AND NO ONE ANSWERS OR ATTENDS MY CLAIM. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE IT IS A CRAP COMPANY. DON'T BE FOOLED LIKE THEY FOOLED ME

SelectAutoProtect is the WORST company that I have ever worked with in my 40 years in business. I pay them $4,500 per year and they refused to pay an $800 claim. Their sales team OVERSELLS the company and their claims department runs a CUSTOMER INSULT operation. You have more than 50 choices - don't pick SelectAutoProtect!

Started out ok. But when i found I still had a yr left on current policy and called to cancel was left on hold for 7 min, then passed on to someone else who put on another long hold, then told someone would call me shortly . That has not happened and you are now closed. Left email for account mgr and he has yet to respond. So I guess once you have my money, you do not really care about the customer

Zero stars. Waste of time and funds! Cooling system/AC covered per their policy but they refused to pay. I had to pay $1000+ in rentals waiting for their expert evaluator to assess the situation. A report did not become available til 2 days after the already delayed visit. Then they claimed none of the components were covered…not even one? Ended up with a hefty bill. Bad business…bad customer service. They should be investigated to the full extent of the law. This is my humble opinion.

This is the worst company I've ever had to deal with . I have searched the internet and can't get any info on its corperate address phone numbers or anyone on the executive board . If you ask "john" refuses to give you any information . WONT RETURN MY MONEY AFTER CANCELLING THE POLICY !!!! Stay away
