I have been using SaneBox for quite a while now, and it has genuinely changed how I deal with email. My inbox used to be a constant mess. Important messages were buried under newsletters, CC’d threads, and stuff I did not need to look at right away. SaneBox fixed that without me having to babysit it. The emails that matter show up where they should, and the rest gets out of the way. It learns quickly and does not do anything stupid or aggressive. What really surprised me was how useful the reminder and follow-up features are. I did not think I needed them, but now I rely on them daily. If I send an email and need to follow up, or receive something I cannot deal with right away, I know it will come back when it should. That alone has saved me from dropping balls more times than I can count. This is not a flashy tool, and it is not trying to reinvent email. It just quietly makes email manageable again. Once you get used to a clean inbox that stays that way, going back feels impossible.

UPDATE (10/24/25): someone at Sanebox cancelled my account BEFORE I could even initiate it. I was planning to back up my "trainings" and stuff before I made the request to cancel my account. I remember that Help said there are many options at the time of cancellation. Someone at Sanebox just went ahead and CANCELLED my account. And now my Inbox is flooded with so many emails (which is why I *was* using Sanebox). Oh wow! And there IS a reply from Sanebox. But no plan how to solve the issue or anything. WOW! Haven't experienced THAT before! Update #2 (10/24/25): To SaneBox: thank you for your offer. I politely have to say no. 2 main reasons: 1) I have used Sanebox for 11+ years. I am not going to try and recreate my 1000s of "trainings"/rules again. That would be crazy! AND 2) The fact that a manager in your technical support CANCELLED my account without me even initiating it. That is NOT AT ALL professional IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM. Thus, I will have to take other actions. I was going to back up my training rules and then cancel the service. And go on my way. Paid for the service for 11+ years, and never had any issues. Then, the outage happened, and things have been pretty bad. Worse, the support didn't provide any support. I guess that's bad. But then, to be vindictive and cancel my account before I even have a chance to do anything... that is PRETTY CRAZY. Thus, I politely decline your offer. Instead of my wasted money, energy, and efforts, now this is simply a different matter. Best wishes. Original (10/19/25): I have been using SaneBox for *at least* 10 years or more. And I have LOVED it most of the time. I used to use it for 2 different email addresses which meant I paid a lot of money every year to SaneBox. It seemed WORTH it to me. Until they had a huge outage in Sept of 2025. And since then, it has been a nightmare. Emails would stop being tagged to SaneLater *randomly*. Only solution was to "RE-TRAIN" that email. After weeks of seeing this every day (and different incoming email vendors), I contacted tech support. First time. And Oh My God. 14 to 15 emails back and forth with 1 tech support person. He/she wouldn't read what I wrote. Being a very technology proficient person, I put in lots of details (including what I had already tried and so on). He/she would recommend things which didn't make sense (and later on end up causing more issues - at least the first few times when I DID listen to him/her). He/she would get information mixed up. It was as if he/she didn't have any training - neither about how emails work NOR how their product works. I wish I could publish the email chain with this person. Nothing against this person, but it is EXTREMELY frustrating to repeat yourself over & over again (especially with the kind of details I was adding - to make it EASIER for the TECH SUPPORT)! I finally am done. There are MANY alternatives to SaneBox. Going to start looking into them this weekend. What a shame! I have convinced at least 6 people to start using this product over the last many years :(

Saves me literally hours per day! Love the folders, automatic filtering and other tools. inbox Zero for life!

I love how everything organizes itself. I receive 100's of emails a day from Vendors, Clients, and of course junk. Sanebox has clearly organized EVERYTHING!!

Works incredibly well and in general appropriately flags emails for each category, very easy to train the occasional exceptions.

Honestly, what an incredible tool. I can't believe how much of a game changer this has been for my emails. I was starting to hate emails. They were causing me so much stress. I couldn't help but open my inbox; it was like an automatic thing. But now that sanebox sorts my emails, I can just look in the inbox and not feel it's cluttered anymore. Great tool to help organise and get rid of endless and old emails no one is capable to find anymore by just searching. Great for the detoxification of the inbox.
