Unbelievable customer service and fantastic quality
Unbelievable customer service and fantastic quality from RTA Wood Cabinets! From start to finish, they were incredibly helpful, easy to talk to, and gave great advice while helping me set everything up. The initial delivery was super quick. Later, when I realized I was still missing a few items, they literally got them to me the exact same day. I am absolutely thrilled with the excellent quality of the cabinets. Highly recommend!

Their communication or lack there of whether you order through them or another one of their wholesalers their time frames are bogus, and the product is subpar compared to other solid wood cabinets

Hi Doug, it sounds like part of this review may be about another company. We’re a dealer and don’t supply other kitchen sellers.
Your only order with us was for three cabinets. You placed it on the 27th, we shipped it on the 29th, and it was delivered on the 30th. We also helped you get a lower shipping rate when you called.
After delivery, you emailed that the cabinets “look great,” but said you had misread the overlay dimensions and needed a different size to match your existing cabinets. We responded with the return policy for the unopened cabinets, and offered to set up the return.

I wasn't informed of delivery being outside my home in a crate. So I wasn't prepared to get my items inside. Additionally at the time I just had knee surgery. I felt I should have got a heads up.

Hi Michele, we’re sorry you weren’t prepared to bring the cabinets inside, especially after knee surgery. All our shipments are curbside delivery, and most freight companies don’t offer inside delivery. This information is on our website and was also included in the email we sent with your tracking and delivery instructions. We’re sorry it came as a surprise and hope your recovery is going well.
The cabinets themselves are great, but...
The cabinets themselves are great. We love them. It was the process and the service that made me rate low. We only received 1 of the 2 pallets of cabinets. Some items were damaged. Replacement took forever. Eventually both the missing and replacement pallet showed up. We were honest and reported the duplicate delivery which was later picked up. My frustration was in communication and the "delivery isn't our problem" attitude. Overall, we would NOT choose RTA again. There are several other options out there to choose from. Our entire build was not only delayed but pretty much stopped because of this, and the level of care or concern from RTA was absolutely nonexistent.

Jeff, we’re sorry for the experience and the delays this caused with your project, and we appreciate your honesty throughout the process.
Unfortunately, one of the two pallets was lost in transit. Once you contacted us, we immediately reached out to the manufacturer, who had the freight carrier perform a dock search to locate the missing pallet. Carriers typically allow 3–5 business days for this process. We understood the urgency and pushed the manufacturer not to wait the full period, and they agreed to ship all of the missing items a day earlier. The carrier ultimately located the original pallet as well.
We responded each time you reached out and provided whatever updates we had available. We certainly never meant to give the impression that the delivery wasn’t our problem or that we didn’t care. We were explaining the process we had to follow with the manufacturer and freight carrier, while at the same time pushing them to move things along faster.
We’re glad to hear you love the cabinets themselves, and we sincerely apologize that the delivery experience didn’t go as smoothly as it should have.
Good quality
Delivered on time. All boxes arrived in good condition without damage, everything accounted for.
My finished RTA cabinets turned out beautiful.
Wasn't my first rodeo with RTA cabinets so I have no reviews on included instructions.
My biggest hiccup is that I ordered a 36 inch base cabinet with 2 slide out drawers.
I had to use my own ingenuity to configure this set up to place the drawer slides and make a front bar for the front face of the slides / drawer weight to rest on.

Thank you, Victoria for the great review! Glad everything arrived in good shape and the cabinets turned out beautiful. The roll-out trays don’t have a set height so you can install them wherever you prefer. The glides can usually be attached directly to the face frame without needing to add a bar underneath. Thanks for the feedback and for choosing us!

I am a homeowner who was looking for an alternative to the extremely expensive cabinet quotes I was receiving for my remodel. I did quite a bit of research and found very little information online—positive or negative—about RTA Wood Cabinets. I initially reached out with a few questions and did not receive a response, so I was admittedly hesitant when I decided to move forward with a request for a quote.
From that point forward, however, every experience I had with RTA Wood Cabinets was exceptional.
I had an excellent consultant who worked with me through the design every step of the way. I made multiple changes as my vision evolved, and they continued to accommodate those changes and help me create exactly what I was envisioning.
I will admit that I was extremely nervous when it came time to actually place the order. It was still a substantial amount of money, and as a homeowner ordering cabinets online from a company I had found very little information about, it felt like a leap of faith.
I took the chance, and I am very grateful that I did.
The turnaround time was significantly shorter than any of the leading cabinet brands I had received quotes from. Delivery was arranged for a time that was convenient for me, and every cabinet in my order arrived undamaged and exactly as ordered.
During installation, I found one door that had an unusual area of wood grain that caused the stain to take inconsistently. I took a photo, sent an email, and requested a replacement. The request was approved without hassle, and the replacement door arrived within days. That experience gave me even more confidence in the company because they stood behind their product after the sale.
The doors, drawers, finishes, and hardware have all met my expectations. I also have several custom-sized cabinets, and RTA Wood Cabinets accommodated all of my sizing requests, which allowed me to create a kitchen that feels truly customized rather than like an off-the-shelf RTA kitchen.
Overall, I am VERY satisfied with my cabinets. Yes, I saved a tremendous amount of money compared with the other quotes I received, but that isn’t the only reason I am happy with my decision. The quality, functionality, custom sizing, and final design are exactly what I had imagined for my home.
My one suggestion for RTA Wood Cabinets would be to invest more in YouTube and other video content. I truly believe there are many DIY homeowners like me who would purchase these cabinets if they had access to more real-world content showing the product, ordering process, assembly, installation, and finished kitchens. We want to see it, understand it, and know that we can do it ourselves.
I personally would have felt much more confident making such a large purchase if I had been able to find videos from homeowners documenting the process from ordering through installation. Hopefully, as the company grows, more of that content will become available.
For anyone who has found RTA Wood Cabinets during their own research and is hesitant because there isn’t a tremendous amount of information online, I hope my experience helps with your decision.
I took the chance, saved a substantial amount of money, received the customized kitchen I wanted, and would absolutely make the same decision again.
Five stars from this DIY homeowner.

Thank you, Trisha! We really appreciate the detailed review and are so glad you’re happy with your cabinets and how everything turned out. We are working on getting more customer installation and finished kitchen videos. Since we ship all over the country and don’t do the installations ourselves, it’s not always easy to get them, but we’re working on it. Thanks again for giving us a chance and for sharing your experience!
