We've been looking for someone to take care of our babies for a long time, we finally found someone on Rover. George is great with my senior small dog at 13 years old and our big boy at 2.5 years old. We know when we leave our fur babies with George, they're in great hands. We will continue to use George for daycare and vacations. I definitely recommend him for your pet care when you're not home. George has a beautiful dog named Ginger, that's very friendly and a large fenced yard so they have plenty of room to play.

If you are a sitter who actually cares about pets and trying to help owners in tough situations, beware of Rover’s policy enforcement. ​I was recently penalized simply for trying to be transparent, honest, and helpful to a client whose situation fell through—even though I was pointing them toward solutions to help their pet. Rover strictly forbids sitters from providing meaningful help or guidance if it doesn't fit neatly within their app parameters. From now on, I have to tell owners that Rover's rules prevent me from offering support, leaving them completely on their own. ​Meanwhile, sitters who routinely take business off the app escape any consequences just by hiding their messages. Rover has made it abundantly clear that they prioritize rigid policy over sitter integrity, client care, and genuine trustworthiness. Good, honest caregivers are penalised here; proceed with caution.
