The lenses themselves are great
The lenses themselves are great, and once installed, I have no complaints about the actual product. My issues are with the experience surrounding it. First, shipping took about a month from the time I ordered to receiving the lenses. I understand Reloptix may be a smaller company and these may be made to order, but a month is still an exceptionally long wait for prescription lens inserts. Even regular prescription glasses can arrive significantly faster, and competing VR lens companies offer much shorter turnaround times. My other issue was the installation instructions. The box essentially directs you to a QR code with links to installation videos. There was a Quest 3 option listed, but when I selected it, the video appeared to be for the Quest 2. The installation itself is actually very simple, but without accurate instructions it was unnecessarily confusing. At first I wasn’t even sure whether something needed to be removed from the Quest 3 before installing the frames. This could be solved incredibly easily with a small instruction card in the box showing which side of each frame goes in first and explaining that you simply press them firmly into place. A few clear steps specifically for the Quest 3 would have eliminated the entire issue. Overall, I really like the lenses and would recommend them. The product is excellent. The month-long turnaround and surprisingly unclear installation documentation are what keep it from being a five-star experience for me.
