I had my procedure (right hip) last August. Very little post op pain and followed the rehabilitation instructions to the letter. Today, I am walking 10 miles per day and performing my duties as a firefighter without pain.

I had lost hope for my ankle based on what the orthopedic surgeons were telling me and then another physcian suggested I talk to Dr. Centeno and Regenexx. Wow, am I glad I did. I had my left ankle treated with the Regenexx Cultured Stem Cells. Even though Dr. C was skeptical and was careful to control my expectations prior to the procedure, the results have been fantastic. I also had my knee, lumbar spine and shoulder treated at the same time, all with outstanding results. I highly recommend the Regenexx team and hope to never have to have an orthopedic surgery again!

Dr. Tambar is very highly skilled and extremely knowledgeable. I'm very impressed with the program developed by Regenexx. I think they're for real, they have the best technology, and they're really trying to advance the science. Here's the but: you need to look at your own X-ray and talk seriously with the doctor about whether your arthritis is just too advanced for anything (short of joint replacement) to give you lasting relief. Looking back, I feel Regenexx's protocol helped my tendons and ligaments quite a bit. My hip joint itself was badly degenerated, far beyond hope as the art stands today. So my advice is to act early and maybe slow or interrupt the arthritis. But if your joint has passed the point of no return, there will be no returning.

I had knee pain almost everyday and I gave up running because of the pain. Amy orthopedic doctor who was team physician for an NFL team for over twenty years told me I was getting older and I should start cycling and take it easy. Five months after my stem cell procedure I finished 7th in a 50 kilometer trail race in Tennessee and this past May finished the Strolling Jim 41 miler without any knee pain during or after the run. Dr. Bashir was great and I would recommend anyone with knee pain to have a consult with Regenexx.
