RA Fischer Co. is a family-owned medical device company with more than 75 years of history helping patients and caregivers access practical, non-invasive treatment solutions. Our focus is simple: provide trusted products, clear guidance, and real support for conditions that can deeply affect comfort, confidence, and quality of life. Our core products include The Fischer, an FDA-cleared iontophoresis device for treating hyperhidrosis, and The PureWick™ System, a non-invasive at-home solution for managing female urinary incontinence. The Fischer helps treat excessive sweating of the hands, feet, and underarms using tap water and a mild electrical current to temporarily reduce sweat production. Designed for at-home use, The Fischer features non-metal silicon-graphite electrodes, customizable Direct and Pulsed Current settings, an intuitive interface, and configurations for hands, feet, underarms, or all three. RA Fischer Co. also helps patients navigate insurance coverage for The Fischer. Coverage depends on the patient's provider and plan, but our team assists with prescription collection, documentation, benefit verification, and claims support to make the process easier. For urinary incontinence, RA Fischer Co. supports patients using the PureWick™ System, which uses a soft external wick and gentle suction to draw urine away from the body into a sealed canister. For eligible patients, Medicare Part B may cover monthly PureWick™ wick refills, and our team helps with eligibility verification, documentation, and refill coordination. From treatment education to insurance guidance and ongoing product support, RA Fischer Co. is committed to helping patients feel more comfortable, confident, and in control at home.

The girl couldn’t answer my questions. Was very slow. Was on the line for a very long time

Thank you for your feedback, Mary. We're sorry your call took longer than expected & that you weren't able to get the answers you needed. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will use your feedback to help improve our customer service.
I dislike the fact that RA Fisher waits until the last minute to send my mother‘s purewicks out often ending up with 3 to 5 days of no wicks for her reworks. I realize it’s a Medicare issue but RA Fisher needs to push harder to get them approved. My mother is a severe fall risk.

Fred, we appreciate you bringing this up and we understand why the timing is frustrating. We do want to clarify that RA Fischer does not intentionally wait to send supplies. Medicare regulations determine when the next 30-day supply can be processed, and we're required to follow those guidelines. We are happy to review your mother's supply schedule with you directly and help with anything that is within our control. Thank you!
On months with 31 days, we run out of monthly supplies before refill arrives. Need to find a way to solve this in your automated system

Thank you for sharing this, Shirley. We know this can be frustrating, especially during months with 31 days, but our refill timing does have to follow Medicare's 30-day guidelines. We'll have someone from our team reach out to provide additional support.
I was assured my adddress was changed, but order went to old address.

Janelle, we're so sorry for the mix-up. It looks like your shipping address had not been updated at the time, but it has been corrected now. Please feel free to reach out at your convenience if you'd like us to confirm it with you.
I have been using this device thrice a week since 08/19/2019 so its been 36 days already and I didn't see any improvement. I started with 5mA sessions for 20 min. I did this 4 times. Then 3 times I did 5mA for 10 min and 10mA for 10 min. Then 2 times 5mA for 5 min and 10mA for 15 min. Then 4 times 5mA for 3 min and 10mA 17 min and last two treatments have been 5mA for 3 min and 11mA for 17 min. I may be able to increase the current 1 or 2 mA more but at 11mA it does get somewhat uncomfortable but i think i may be able to do till 13 or 14 mA max. Could you suggest any changes that I might do to improve results? Should I increase frequency from thrice a week to more? Should I increase current? Should I increase total time from 20 min to more? What difference does higher current make?

Hi Abdullah, thanks for reaching out. These are all great questions. I'll notify your personal Treatment Specialist and they'll be in touch to walk you through your treatment schedule. Have a great rest of your week.
I've been satisfied with my RA Fischer Iontophoresis machine. It has helped my palmar and plantar HH significantly. Not completely, but significantly. I do add glycopyrrolate to the water for my treatments and sometimes I find it's not working as well as it used to and I just up the frequency of my treatments. My experience with the RA Fischer company was not as positive, hence my 3 stars. I was trying to get insurance reimbursement for the machine I purchased and they were supposed to submit some forms and I stopped hearing back totally from the person I had been dealing it. Poor customer service.
