At Quantum Gear, we understand that a failing transmission is stressful — and that trusting someone with a repair this important isn't an easy decision. That's why we focus on doing things the right way, from the first click to the day your unit arrives. We specialize in remanufactured GM automatic transmissions, with our core lineup built around the 6L80 and 6L90. Every unit goes through a complete remanufacturing process, where worn and failure-prone components are replaced and restored. Before anything ships, each transmission is tested on a dynamometer, so we know it performs the way it should — not just on paper, but under real load.We ship nationwide. Ordering is done online, and your unit is delivered by freight straight to you, wherever you are in the country.Whether you're a repair shop, a mechanic, or a driver simply trying to get your vehicle back on the road, our goal is the same: make the process clear and straightforward, and hand you a unit you can rely on. No guesswork, no runaround — just a properly remanufactured transmission and people who are ready to help when you have questions.

Thanks a bunch, Ed. No surprises on the price and none on the unit, and that is all any of us were hoping for with your order.

Price and performance in the same sentence, that's the combination we're after. Thank you for this.
I had the transmission in 3days, I thought that was amazing!! Returning the core was pretty easy also, I think the case that you ship it in is a great way to keep it simple! The instructions for the core return are very simple and easy. The shop that was going to rebuild my old transmission originally told me a couple of days after I brought it to him. He didn’t return my calls so I already had it ordered from Quantum and on its way!!! This is my work vehicle so time is lost money! I have already recommended Quantum to other people!

Steve, three days versus a shop that never called back, I'd be relieved too. A work vehicle sitting still is the worst kind of waiting, so I'm glad we got you moving fast. And thank you for sending people our way, that's worth more than any ad we could buy.
Everything went smoothly and the specific instructions were very clear.

Wayne, clear instructions take a surprising amount of work to write, so it's nice to hear they did their job. Thank you.

Jose, the questions part is where a lot of companies go quiet, so I'm glad ours didn't. Good to have you with us.
Fast communication and shipping! The transmission was shipped in a container made for the transmission so I had confidence in the replacement.

Billy, nobody told us the box would get its own compliment, but we'll take it. Thanks for noticing the details.
The easiest transaction anyone could ask for.. submitted my vin, they matched my transmission ..shipped from Wisconsin to Athens Ga. In two days ...transmission was replaced by my mechanic and back on the road as good as new within a week. Amazing! Core shipped back and core charge credit received. Excellent service. Mark, Wisconsin to Athens in two days and back on the road inside a week, that's a good week. Thank you for recommending us, it goes a long way for a shop our size.
