I feel like it's 1999 and I'm sitting in front of my iMac trying to connect through my dial-up modem. At least then I got to listen to that really annoying dial-up noise. With Philo, I just get to stare at the screen with the little circle going around and around and around. Philo is 1980's technology trying to disguise itself as a modern-day app. Don't waste your money. If I could give it negative stars I would. I don't need to watch Yellowstone that badly.

Terrible service! I registered for the trial to watch season 5 of Yellowstone because I could not find it anywhere else. $25 a month?? For this?? Don't use it! Don't sign up! Don't even do the trial. So NOT worth it. Just awful.

I was intending to sign with sling until I read horrible reviews. Then I read philo reviews, again crappy reviews, fubo, youtube, outrageously expensive, go back to cable, noway, so I signed with philo, maybe I'm lucky, had 3 good reps helped set up etc, save everything, skip ads with a fast forward /reverse function, so far with crossed fingers

Same stupid commercials over and over.

I wanted to watch Hallmark Christmas movies so I signed up with Philo. No big deal. I started watching the first movie and then it went into three and a half minutes of commercials followed by another 10-12 minutes of movies and four and a half minutes of commercials. When the movie was playing it would pixelate and freeze and you had to fast forward to get it to play again and sometimes it didn't even play. I exited out tried to update Roku did a restart (three times) so I ended up watching the movie on my computer and had the same pixelating/freezing issues. If I'm paying $25 a month I don't want commercials. So I'll wait for the movie to come out on VUDU and I'll buy it but I'm canceling my Philo subscription.

This app is way overpriced!! Not worth it at all in my opinion. The ads are 2-3 mins and the show is only 1 maybe 2 mins before another ad pops up. I used a stopwatch to time it, it’s ridiculous. I can’t even get into my show for a slightest bit because there’s too many ads interrupting. Any other tv/movie app (Hulu, Netflix, tubi, etc.) would be 1,000x’s better than this. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. It’s entirely horrible, only cons to this, possible pro is the fact that you can watch MTV if you are okay with watching it in tiny clips of the show. Oh and it starts the ad in the middle of a word or sentence from your show or movie with ZERO warning. I wish I could rate 0 stars.

1 Star is too damn many! They charge you $25 a month for this crap! I was watching a movie and I paused it for 10 minutes then went back to finish off the last 15 minutes of the movie and it said that there weren't any showings available when I was just watching the movie! I can't finish a movie in its entirety but I'm being charged monthly for the damn app? There are better streaming apps! I'd rather pay for something more reliable because philo is not it!
