One of the worst payroll companies! Paying employees that are no longer employed , not paying employees that are working, taking the wrong state taxes out of other employees , double paying employees , then I need top of that charging employees almost $100 for a rejected direct deposit.

Cases outstanding take too long to get resolved and then the responses don't have the email chain of events to reflect on to make the process easier. When you have multiple cases open this can get confusing. Customer service reps give different information, or needs to create a case because they can't help and you need to keep english reps. only

When returning calls, don't just give a case #, give the reason, I have multiple cases and have no idea what number it is. Customer service is terrible. No one understands anything and you get pushed off to someone else.

We have been disappointed overall with our experience using Paycor. While there is a lot of potential within the system itself, the level of service and support we receive, along with the functionality as it stands right now, has fallen well below our expectations (and promises made to us by Paycor during implementation). There is an alarming lack of urgency when critical issues arise. We experienced a full system outage for over 48 hours and continue to experience ongoing functionality problems that significantly impact payroll and HR operations, yet response times have been slow and resolution timelines unclear. For a system that is essential to our operations. to say this is unacceptable is an understatement. Updates on open tickets are often delayed or vague, leaving our team to follow up repeatedly for basic information. This creates unnecessary stress and inefficiency on our end. Additionally, the system itself can be unintuitive in many areas, requiring more manual workarounds than we could have ever imagined. This continues to diminish the overall value of what should be a streamlined, user-friendly solution. We chose Paycor expecting a reliable and supportive partner in managing critical HR and payroll processes. Unfortunately, the experience has been lacking, to say the least. We see a lot of potential, and we hope to see significant improvements in support and system functionality moving forward, as it is becoming harder and harder to justify the cost of the system for the value we receive.

We are very disappointed with our experience, as what was sold to us does not align with what we have actually received. The level of support currently available is extremely poor. Most chats or support calls result in cases being closed without resolution, leaving issues unresolved and requiring repeated follow-ups. Our team is consistently bounced between departments, with little ownership taken to see issues through to completion. There is no option for live, video-based communication, which would greatly simplify conversations and improve understanding for more complex issues. Additionally, there is no clear or reliable escalation path. We do not have a designated contact to raise ongoing concerns or escalate support issues when they are not being addressed. The overall lack of responsiveness from Paycor is the primary reason for our very poor rating. The only individual who attempts to follow up is the sales representative, and even that engagement feels driven primarily by upsell opportunities rather than genuine concern for resolving existing issues or improving our experience.

Do not use Paycor! You'll be hit by hidden fees that even they can't or won't explain. The fees will just go up and up until you've had enough, and then they hit you with another month of fees because you have to give them 30 days notice when you leave! Customer service is painfully slow, plan on at least a half hour before you get to talk to someone, and promises made turn into lies. Go anywhere else!

Was very happy with Paycor until the last 6 months. Support is NOT helpful or knowledgeable anymore. The chat bot is a horrible change. Everything keeps breaking or no longer working and support blames us when we haven't changed anything. You can't just take down reporting/analytics for a week - I have a board of directors to provide information to. I have lost confidence in Paycor's ability to service us. I assume it is due to the Paychex acquisition based on timing, but I don't know. Nick our customer rep is great, not his fault, he tries!! We have decided to demo other vendors.

The quarterly tax filings were late and we are being charged penalties. We are being overbilled for zero returns when it was negotiated there would not be charges. The taxes are not being withheld properly-Harrodsburg and Versailles KY. There is no email contact to forward information to. You have to speak with someone outside the country. Paycor changed drastically from what it was. The customer service is not convenient of having a contact/representative.
