Catalogue was nice and clear and delivery very prompt. The main question is how well the seeds germinate but confidence is high.

Lots of seeds to choose from including old heritage varieties. As a beginner I have chosen vegetable seeds that are suitable for the novice!! I'm looking forward to seeing them sprout and grow.

My order arrived to the dates I expected which is reasuring. I bought a variety of chiily seeds from you, but these have not yet sprouted as its still a bit too cold. Looking forward to them!

I like the fact that you are offering Moroccan Cress. It's actually a close relative of lettuce, very similar to Italian long-leaf varieties, and it's easy and fool-proof as a 'cut-and-come-again' salad. I don't like the fact that there is no indication of where your seeds are grown. I have found that seeds grown in East Africa, although they pass standard germination tests, perform very poorly here in Derbyshire.

Have unsubscribed from this firm's mailings 3 times in the last week and am still getting emails, including the one prompting this review. How many orders for organic seeds and products does this firm think I want to make, and are they carrying out an experiment to see how many emails they can send before I block them? It's called the Organic Catalogue, but some product lines are not even available as organic, in spite of the fact that other companies are able to provide organic alternatives. The catalogue itself is not as bad as the website, but when you trawl the website, you start to get the impression that organic products are very much the minority. I'm sure it wasn't always thus, and frankly starts to seem quite misleading. Placed an order a week ago and received three separate deliveries on the same day as each other. One delivery for a single packet of seeds, one for a bare-root plant, and one for a container plant. Madness if you ask me. Delivery was fairly quick, but it gets confusing when you receive multiple emails from the same company and the courier firm all relating to different deliveries. The strawberry plants I ordered at the same time as the rest, in spite of being in stock at the time of order, are being sent within an estimated 21-day period, though that I don't mind at all because it gives me extra time to prepare the ground. I cannot comment on these as yet as I haven't received them. The seeds I haven't yet sown, so no comment, but the plants seemed healthy and happy to me. But it all seems very corporate to me these days. Did I mention I don't love the marketing emails?
