OmcgearReviews of omcgear.com

I love that OMC Gear has great quality gear at affordable prices. Not only was I able to find the pack I wanted, but it was delivered fast and was EXACTLY what I wanted!! I'm going to come back for all of my camping/hiking/backpacking gear!! <3

I ordered Downunder footbeds from OMC...I actually ordered them about 4 times from OMC and I have to say, OMC is quick, cordial (I had to e-mail them about what size I had bought the last time...and they responded right away!), and the products are great. I had no problems with my order. I highly recommend them just because they have it together!

I ordered a mountaineering down jacket for an important, long backpacking trip. I paid to overnight the jacket just to calm my nerves and now for sure the jacket would arrive on time, which of course cost quite a bit of money. I received it 2 days later and they send me down pants not the down jacket that I ordered. In the box along with the down pants was my purchase order showing I ordered the mountaineering down jacket. I called the company and the representative on the phone sais, after a long pause, like he thought he wasn't going to have to say anything, said 'oh, sorry, well if you ship those pants back to us we'll have no problem refunding you for the product.' He had not a care in the world that the product was obviously important to have and for it to be RIGHT since I paid to overnight it. Nor did he offer to reimburse me for the overnight shipping until I requested it. The his response was 'well that's a cost we already incurred so I'm sure I can't refund it.' I said 'but it's not my fault that you shipped the wrong product so why should I have to eat the cost of the shipping?' His response, 'Oh well yeah I'll go ahead and refund the full price of the product and the overnight shipping as soon as the product arrives to us.' I said 'so I have to pay to ship this wrong product back?' He said, 'yes, I can't refund you more than your total product/invoice price.' I said, 'but my total expenses for you to ship me the wrong product is now going to cost me money then?' He response, 'Yes, if you want to look at it that way.' HMMMM look at it that way or look at my debit card statement and SEE that it cost me more money than they refunded for them to ship me the wrong product. BUYER BEWARE!! He wasn't too on the ball so it has me wondering if he's the one that filled my order too. Really unfortunate

I ordered a winter parka on clearance - it arrived quickly, everything was as expected. No concerns here!
