Let’s start with the fact that I signed up to get my wife to use the service as well. So, my cost is very high each month. Two out of the three sensors my wife has used were defective, giving her very low (30s and 40s) readings. Yes we contacted Dexcom and yes they sent replacements but those take week to arrive so in the meantime we are paying for access to an app but can’t use it. As for dealing with NS -everything is by email, even when you ask to SPEAK to someone. Instead, I got an email (1) addressing issues when you first install - 1st 24 hours - not relevant in this case, (2) calibrating - already done, multiple times and (3) calling the Dexcom issue an isolated incident - clearly not true and a quick search of the internet will provide plenty of examples of issues. Finally, my sensor expires on 12/27. I received notification that my shipment just went out and I will receive it on 1/2. WTF - they can’t even get shipments out in a timely manner so that I have the next sensor BEFORE my current one expires. VERY POOR EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY AROUND. A simple call would have saved time as none of the above was helpful. For some reason, the phone seems to be a very last choice if at all. Still no call. I then changed my settings, opting out of the study and all of a sudden, the app wanted me to redo the questionnaire. Basically, I got booted from the app. I signed up for 6 months and am very sorry that I did. I will be pushing NS to deal with this issue and cancel our subscriptions - without any further cost. I will be investigating Levels in place of NS to see if they are a better service. All NS had to do was be more timely and responsive and this could have been avoided. Update - 12/26 - I received another email response - clearly, nobody is willing to pick up the phone and call me. In that email, I was asked if we calibrated the unit. In my email to them, I clearly stated that we did calibrate the unit. It appears that nobody even reads the email they are responding to. I recommended that a co-worker and my nephew look at NS when i first started using the service. I will be rescinding those recommendations. Further update - 12/27/2024 - NS management refuses to actually call me and address the issues. Do yourself a favor - DON’T USE THIS SERVICE. The FDA has approved over the counter versions of the CGMs. Use a combo of the app Carb Manager and an over the counter version of the CGMs (still waiting for the release of the Abbott version). The effort will be similar and well worth it. NS is NOT worth the money.

I truly appreciate the responsiveness and addressing underlying issues rather than assigning individual blame.
