I ordered these at the start of the month because they were advertised as made by blacksmiths in australia and shipped within australia by australia post to arrive within 10 days. After 15 days my tracking finally initiated and indicated that they were being sent (most likely from a mass production factory) in China. Customer service never replies. Dispute raised. Do not buy this product.

It was time to replace our kitchen knives. After looking & researching knives that friends suggested, I decided on Northern Knife. They looked awesome and the 2 free deal was enticing enough (sometimes sketchy). They come in very nice boxes and are more awesome looking in person. Very sharp knives! I’ve had them a couple weeks now and have used the Odin’s chef knife & Loki Viking knife quite a bit. Beautiful handling knives. Great choice I’ve made. I have shown them off to friends and family and given them my approval of these beautiful knives.

Rick, we will take "sometimes sketchy" as fair — plenty of deals out there do not survive contact with the doorstep. Glad ours did, and glad the whole set earned its place on your counter. Thank you for doing the research and landing on us. — Andy @ NorthernKnife
Knives are razors. 10/10 will purchase more for gifts. God bless.

"Knives are razors" — we will take that one. Thank you Austin, and blessings right back to you and yours. — Andy @ NorthernKnife
I really like how the knifes are made. You can tell they are each carefully made with intention of high quality. They are very sharp and easy to cup with.

Thanks, Bryson! Every blade is hand-forged by blacksmiths who've spent their lives at the anvil, so "carefully made" is exactly the standard we hold. Enjoy the edge — and welcome to the Clan. — Andy @ NorthernKnife
The knives are sharp and look great. Probably need to treat the wood handles though with some sort of oil.

Thanks, Broc — and good instinct on the handles. A light coat of food-safe mineral oil every few weeks keeps the wood conditioned and looking its best: rub it in with a soft cloth, let it sit overnight, wipe off the excess. Enjoy the blades! — Andy @ NorthernKnife
Straight out the box it is sharp even came with some stickers and a discount card qaulity is great nice feel in the hand all round was a great gift.

I ordered these for my husband for our 6th anniversary which is the iron anniversary, I know they are made of iron but they are forged so I say it counts! The ordering process was very easy, they shipped quickly and when they arrived the packaging was great! My husband loved them, they were sharp the detail on the feather knife was gorgeous! My husband immediately started looking at your other knives I am sure he will be ordering more!

Forged iron absolutely counts, Sally — best use of a 6th anniversary we've heard yet. Thrilled your husband loved the Feather; the detail on that blade is why it's become our collectors' favorite. When he's ready for the next one, we'll be here. — Andy @ NorthernKnife
