So far so good, but I haven't even started yet. It's been a 3 week process to get a bank account opened because of fumbles with their banking partner.

Easy process and great service the entire time.

Initial call was good but downhill from there. Canned email responses to questions. Very little assistance after payment was made. Solera is a joke and a waste of time. Titan makes up for that somewhat. The differences between the two are striking. I submitted an app on the website for Gemini. No confirmation or correspondence at all until I received an email that my app was being put on hold. By then I had already opened a Kraken account. I would have done more buinsess with you including my IRA, but that's not happening.

We sent you 5 email reminders to sign your Gemini application and another 7 emails after we prepared your Solo 401k, to be sure you have the help and support you need (answering questions regarding banking, brokerage, investment options, etc). Setting up my solo 401(k) with Nabers Group seemed to be seamless and very efficient. The staff that I interacted with have been very professional and knowledgeable. Overall has been a great experience so far.

After months of researching and reading the fine print on Solo 401Ks and Self-Directed IRAs, I found what I was looking for in the Nabers Solo 401K product. Note that Nabers was at the top of the list from Day 1, although I had to do my due diligence, and they won the prize (my business). I chose Nabers because they have a wealth of resources (and they are free, too...) for every type of scenario, along with an interactive blog and social media groups. This way, I can stay updated and learn new strategies from other Solo 401K members. I strongly recommend them and using the companies on their preferred partners' page since not everyone understands the nuances of self-directed retirement accounts. Lastly, the sign-up process and price are the best in the market, which was an added bonus for me. I have already recommended Solo401K.com to my solopreneur friends.

It requires more knowledge than a casual read to know the meaning of the vast paperwork we must sign. It's disruptive to have to stop & email each question for an answer in order to proceed. Even then, I'm not sure I understand the implications.

We have various support channels, including our Community-based support (with our in-house experts and other Solo 401k plan owners answering questions regularly!), in addition to our Knowledge Base, live chat, and weekly Q&A sessions. I know the 401k plan can be overwhelming - there's a lot to it which is why we make our network of partners available, too (banks, CPAs, attorneys, investment ideas, etc). Please utilize our support channels so we can continue to support you - your retirement goals are worth it.
I miss talking to a real human. Nabers has a fine product offering, however, I was very disappointed during the set up process to discover that the rep who sold me on the Nabers experience via the phone would no longer be my point of contact. Now all communication is via email/chat. Does Nabers respond? Yes, but I would really enjoy picking up the phone and having a simple live conversation when I have a question.
