I really like the guy in N.Raleigh, Jason.. he is very nice and helpful. My complaint is: in dec. The IID gave me a hi reading, but monitech figured out it was problem with the machine, and came out and hooked up another one for me.. great..but Now my license is being suspended for THAT day (I haven't drank in 17yrs.) So, now I have to pay $450 for a hearing W/ DMV To keep my license. Monitech, this is NOT RIGHT..I have done nothing wrong, you guys KNOW it was the machine, and you've reported me failed. $450 is alot of money, when you've done NOTHING wrong Has anyone else experience this problem? This happened to my husband Terry McLamb.

I want to preface that this is a review for Technician James at Monitech Pembroke. Extremely courteous and accommodating to what problems that arise with the equipment. I have dealt with many technicians along the way and I have found James to understand that it is not only a job, but an attitude of helpfulness in any way. He is a great guy and the company should take note of both his work ethic and customer courtesy. To review the company that would be a 0 star, I have had horrible rapport with their call center, but that review is reserved for another time.

Monitech recognizes how difficult and certainly not fun this program can be, however we are grateful that you chose us to be on this journey with you, and we will be here for you every step of the way.
From the moment I started researching interlock devices to fulfill my requirements and responsibilities of getting my license back after going nine years without one, Monitech has been extremely helpful and pleasant. I had a great amount of anxiety regarding the process and every single customer service representative was more than accommodating and helpful. I would normally chalk this up to "good luck"; however, over the seven months I've been using my device, any time I've called with a question or concern, whoever I was speaking with seemed to genuinely care about helping me. I wish I knew every persons name to give them full credit here. My latest interaction with customer service was Ashley L. I cannot praise and thank her enough for staying on the phone with me while my device was unresponsive to my driving tests, and calming me when my anxieties were taking over; "is this going to affect my record with the DMV?", "am I going to be charged extra for this?", "how am I going to get past this?", etc. I must have been on the phone with her for close to an hour and she never faltered in her kindness to me (I was on the side of the road, she had to place me on hold multiple times so she could find the right answers to give me if she wasn't absolutely sure). Ashley got me set up with what I needed to move forward and left me feeling positive and reassured. THANK YOU ASHLEY! My technician in Durham is Andy. Due to my schedule, I always have the earliest appointment of the day and every single time Andy meets me with a caring smile and genuinely positive attitude. He is so very informative any time I have questions and makes sure I have a full knowledge of what's going on. Like I stated before, I have extreme anxiety, especially trying to move past this hiccup in my life from nearly ten years ago at this point, and he always makes it known this is all just part of a process and if I'm fulfilling my responsibility of requirements it's going to be fine and I am on my way to moving forward. I seriously cannot thank every single one of the customer service representatives, as well as Andy, enough for making this process so much smoother than I had anticipated. I appreciate them very much for their kindness every single time I have to reach out to them. I sincerely tell people about their customer service on the regular not only because it's such a breath of fresh air when dealing with all of the mess that comes after a DUI, but because let's be honest-dealing with customer service isn't always the easiest, yet with Monitech it's stellar. Thanks y'all.
