Initially I had a problem with the chair that arrived, but Madison Seating customer service gladly offered a solution and an apology. Would purchase again Update: the second chair they sent me is just as crappy as the first.

Do not waste your money. The chair is bought is not an authentic Herman Miller and I am positive it is used. It's going to cost more to ship it back than I paid for the useless chair. That's right, you can return it, but you foot the bill. It's a scam....you're not getting authentic goods.

I was a little hesitant to buy from Madison Seating because the prices seemed "too good to be true." I've had an Aeron chair in my office for many years, so when my wife started working from home several days/week I decided to get her one, too! While I was at it I picked up two more Steelcase chairs for some of my staff. Everything arrived by Fedex within a few days, in huge & sturdy boxes. The chairs were well-packaged with tons of heavy duty bubble wrap, and putting them together was a breeze. One of the Steelcase chairs had a broken knob, and the Madison Seating service people immediately resolved the issue. Their customer service only works by email, but they are FAST - as in I wrote an inquiry and had a response in under 5 minutes. I am very happy that I went with Madison Seating - their prices are amazing, shipping is super fast, and customer service is truly exceptional. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

I had read many reviews here regarding Madison Seating before making a purchase. Despite many negative reviews, I decided to take a chance on buying an Aeron chair because it was the best price I could find online. I must say that I am very satisfied with my purchase, and my chair arrived in great condition!

Buyers beware. If you receive your order with damaged, or missing parts, they will not honor it. They ship with FedEx, so if they abuse the shipment, they will not honor any replacement as well. The savings you receive is not worth the headache of dealing with them. Their customer service is little to none regardless of what they advertise.

I purchased one of their Steelcase Amia chairs and it came fast and very reasonably priced. Customer service is also top notch.

BEWARE and read the fine print. I ordered an Aeron Chair and it came without the tilt back mechanism. When I advised the company this is what they replied: Our Herman Miller Aeron chairs are Open Box Specials and the forward tilt is not a standard feature for this Clearance sale item. We do not advertise for this function.
