Mac DuggalReviews of macduggal.com

It's important for customers to be clearly informed that FINAL SALE – NON RETURNABLE also means NON-EXCHANGEABLE. This should be stated more explicitly in the product description. Also, you only see positive product reviews on the site as I submitted my review and it does not appear on their website. The dress I ordered is certainly beautiful, but for a piece originally priced at EUR555, I expected better quality—particularly in the finishing details, which are noticeably lacking. The sizing also runs larger than indicated in the size chart.

I recently ordered a dress from Mac Duggal worth €445. Unfortunately, it was much too big for me and I wanted to exchange it. The exchange is not possible internationally and I had to pay 50€ for it. The customer service absolutely did not want to accommodate me. They offer a 10% discount for the newsletter registration, so that would have been €44.50 in my case, but do not have the possibility to exchange a dress. Incredibly poor service. Never again! QUALITY: MADE IN CHINA

It advertises that it's an easy return it's not. I went into returns to print label but had a few dufficukites and came out of platfirm. I went back in and it locked me out had to email to request new link. It cost me £40 via specific option to return, I chose to collect from home. They received the return on the 25 th April and I'm still waiting for my refund.

I purchased a dress for my son's wedding, it says 10% discount applies. I copied and pasted it, but when I checked out, there was no discount applied. I emailed their customer service, which is a chat bot anyway, and it says there is no discount, no cancellation and no refund because it's been more than 10 minutes since I purchased it. However I purchased it 5 minutes before. It says the only option for me is to return it after I receive it after 2 weeks. They want to hold on to money for a long time. This is bad business practice that's not going to work in the U.S.

Please be aware before you purchase anything from this company they charge £50 to return any goods. The dress I purchased came in a battered brown box and was draped in a cheap plastic bag, the dress itself was of poor quality and was made in China, the description was totally misleading and described as a midi dress, I suspect it would if still been too long on a giant. Avoid this site at all cost.

2 stars for the decent customer service, was very good and the refund issued quickly, however: The dress arrived in a battered brown box with brown tape hanging off. When I opened the box, the dress was still on the hanger stuffed in as if it had just been taken off the rack on the shop floor and thrown in the box. It looks nothing like the picture, 100% polyester and made in China stamped in clear, big letters, despite the fact that it’s shipped from USA apparently. It’s way pinker than it looks and is so frumpy. I had to search for the slit there was so much material. It is made of the cheapest material, terrible quality and massively overpriced. At this price point, the delivery aesthetic should be excellent and the quality of the dress should be faultless. I sent it back immediately and was charged $50 for the privilege. Absolutely avoid at all costs.

Like another reviewer, I purchased a dress and then read the reviews and panicked. However, the dress just arrived, I ordered on Easter Saturday and today is Wednesday, plain packaging, but absolutely beautiful. I could have bought a size smaller, but I was in between US sizing and figured it would be easier to take in than let out. I am one very happy and relieved person and cannot wait to shop with this company again

I have to be honest, the reviews panicked me. I had ordered in haste and immediately emailed to cancel when my daughter said she’d already found a place for me to try the dress in the uk. I was told by email that the dress had been dispatched which upset me because I had rung and emailed within an hour. I worried the process was going to end up as others described in Trustpilot reviews but the dress did come from the US within three days. The company emailed me a delivery label and I received a full refund including postage within a week. It doesn't come in a pretty box, admitted. And I didn't try it on, but it did appear to look like the image. Personally, I cannot fault their response times by email and I did get my refund. It is always a risk ordering from another country so I would say, take your time.
