Local RootReviews of localroot.com

Knives turned out great and they did the work over 2 days, which was great.

This was a great place to have knives sharpened. They returned them in 48 hours, in a knife sheath! Reasonable price and good service.

Local Root is my place to go to get knives sharpened! My knives come home with a new life, looking all lovely and ready to slice away. I am a regular there and would not consider another place to take my treasured knives for a sharpening. Even better they do it with a two day turnaround so you are not without them for too long. My only regret is that they do not sharpen scissors. I highly recommend the Local Root for your knife sharpening -- and while you are there it is a first class kitchen store as well!

Wow! Such a great experience at Local Root. From the moment I walked in the door to inquire about the knife sharpening services to the pick up of our freshly sharpened knives (within 2 days!) Our knives are like new! Their selection of kitchen and housewares is also vast and appropriately priced. Check it out for yourself - you won't regret your visit!

I didn't realize how much I love sharp knives. And I love that it's really easy to drop them off and pick them up at your leisure.

I brought the knives in to be sharpened. The woman at the register was friendly and efficient. The knives were ready when promised and the woman at the register on the day I picked them up even opened the store early to help me. The knives are sharper than they have been in years and so nice to cut with.

It cost $12. The knife is sharp again. What more could one want?

I dropped of some of my knives at the Newton location. When I returned to pick them up on the day I was told me they'd be ready, I was so impressed by the quality and professional job that was done I was eager to bring in more, which I did. I would absolutely recommend this knife sharpening service. Jonathan did a fantastic job on all of my knives.
