KURU FootwearReviews of kurufootwear.com

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! The shoes are cheap and ill fitting. When I tried to do a return/exchange the message I received stated they were not eligible for return. There is apparently no recourse other than public reviews such as this. To think I fell for the high praise I read about the shoe and company…..

Ordered and received no product. No information and no communication Had to protest with credit card company. Total rip-off and untrustworthy I submitted the order number as well as full contact info as requested

Bad customer service. Never got my order.

Shoes hurt my feet and made my plantar fasciitis worse. Support didn't respond. Stay away. Update: they actually took the time to claim my review is fake instead of answering my support requests.

Ordered a couple pairs, 1 Quest, 1,Tread. Both were a bit small, I am a size 8 and a bit wide, so I did a happy return, which was extremely East and fast. They didn’t have one size up in Quest, but they did send a Tread in a 9, and fits perfect. Very nice looking shoe, well made, and extremely comfortable. Also received it in 3 days. If they had more of the ones I wanted in my size, I would definitely buy them. I see some bad reviews here , but I had a great experience with them. I recommend you try them.

Their change to the shoe design unfortunately made the Roam shoes go from fitting me perfectly to NOT AT ALL. They're just for wide feet now & are super awkward. But the main thing is that despite them saying they have free returns & exchanges, it took a few day to get an email with an RMA. BUT, they didn't even bother to attach a shipping label (which their site seems to indicate they'll do) or to include a return address so I could ship it on my own. It's been 6 days now since I've emailed them multiple times and tried to chat with them during live hours and I have gotten NO RESPONSE!

They have nice, decent, comfortable shoes overall, but their website and delivery are the worst. I ordered 2 pairs of water friendly sandals for a trip on September 6, 2023. The first thing is that their site shows shoes are delivered when they haven’t even shipped yet. Not just in this order but for other orders. Secondly, today is September 14th and I finally got fedex tracking which shows 9/19 for arrival. 13 days to get an order in the US? I called customer service regarding this order before it shipped, and they were nice enough, but couldn’t explain what happened, nor did they offer to do anything to expedite. Since they now will arrive after I’m gone, I put a hold at fedex location so they won’t sit out for a week, and they will end up getting sent back. At this point I don’t care. Won’t need sandals much longer this year. It gives me time to find a better brand for next season. In summary, very unreliable shipping time. I really needed something for this trip as I can’t walk barefoot and needed something water friendly. Thanks for nothing.

I live in Quebec, Canada. I have bought a pair of Kuru Quantum 2 shoes that cost me 250 $ CAD. However, when FEDEX delivered the package, I was shocked to find out I had to pay 97 $ in import fees… I have tried to contact kuru company by e-mail, but have not heard from them yet (48 h later). I have also tried to return the shoes for a refund and found out that I wasn’t eligible since I didn’t live in the US. I think that, in order to be transparent , the company should make it CLEARER that the refund policy only applied to USA and should strongly recommend to international buyers to check import fees before buying. Of course, they would sell less shoes for that reason, but at least they wouldn’t have many customers that feel like they were misinformed and that will not trust the company anymore. So, if you are a Canadian customer, I recommend that you buy shoes from another company unless you are willing to pay an extra 100 $ (total of 350 $ CAD) for a pair of shoes.
