Don’t order from here

Don’t order from here. I did not realize that the metal is just painted steel. The photos on their instagram look like real brass but are not. Even the names of their color choices are called “aged brass” and “light brass” insinuating that they are in fact brass. I ordered. A 2 shelf unit for over $1200 and was so disappointed when it came in and I realize it was just painted a sparkly gold. For $1200 it should be real brass. I packaged it back up just as it came with much care and they received it just fine, as they told me they were accepting the return. Only to then turn around and say they will return 85% of the metal unit and 0% of the glass which apparently makes up over $400 of the piece. Just a joke. Horrible customer service and purposely deceiving names of the color selection to make it seem more luxurious than it is. I ended up ordering a real brass unit from Soil and Oak for the same price, better customer service and a small business. So many better options on Etsy, save your time and money.

Hi Dallas, We’re very sad to hear this and see your reviews. All of our products are handcrafted out of heavy duty steel and painted with one of our 7 powder-coated finishes (all named to explain what color they look like). We also do not take returns on custom products. Both of these things are clear on all of our product listings, policy page, and checkout page. We allowed you to return your brackets but were surprised to see you sent back your custom items anyway. We offered to help as much as possible by: 1. Paying to ship them back to you. 2. Allowing you to return them but with a higher production and shipping fee. 3. Offering to finish them in another color. We are a small business that operates out of Eastern Idaho and we stand by our products. That’s why we were so willing to be flexible even though we never take returns on custom items. We’re glad to hear you found something that worked for you and wish you the best.
