HaworthReviews of haworth.com

Thus far I am deeply unimpressed with Haworth. They have my money, and all I have is a broken chair and no response from the company. I ordered a chair that was recommended to me because of my unique ergonomic issues. I trusted the recommender and made what I felt was a large investment in this chair. First there was no update on the order and it showed as being prepared for a week, with no shipping notification. The chair arrived broken and in unusually condition (I couldn’t even try it out). I tried to file a claim and that was not working on their site because it still showed my order as unfulfilled, yet the chair was in my home. I sent an email and got a ticket assigned immediately, which was great. The eventual response was “file a claim.” I tried again to file a claim and was successful. Since then I have heard nothing at all from the company though I have asked more than once for a full replacement, expedited due to my back issue, and pick up of the broken chair. I cannot speak to the product at all because I cannot sit in this chair, I have not received a refund, I have not received any communication whatsoever, and I have not received notification that there is another chair headed my way. I wish I had seen the other reviews on Trustpilot noting the lack of customer support because I would not have purchased from this company. I’ve been an executive for years and have a large network and definitely will be actively discouraging people from Haworth.

The aluminum base broke so I notified Haworth. They denied the warranty claim since I upgraded the castor from the original castor. When I asked where I can buy a replacement base they told me to contact a local Haworth dealer. All my calls went straight to voice for an entire week and never a call back. You spend over $1,500 for an office chair and you expect some type of customer support. This is no different than buying it from China. I kind of expected more from a US based company. Disappointing. I posted in Reddit to get support and David from Crandall Office Furniture offered me a replacement base, as his company specialize in refurbishment of high-end chairs. Next time I recommend buying from Crandall Office Furniture, for customer service and a discounted chair. Haworth is overpriced and overhyped: (1) The seat cushion is hard as a brick. I thought it was going to break-in and get soft, but that was not the case. (2) There is no head support, so I had to spend another couple hundred to buy one from Atlas. (3) The arm-rest is flimsy and cheap, as it rattles and doesn't hold in place. I finally just took it off. (4) The slide adjustment for the lumber support doesn't hold in place, so no lumber support. I had to buy a back cushion. (5) The bottom base that connects to the casters. As I mentioned above, it broke, so paying extra for the aluminum base provided no value. (6) Don't expect customer service to show any appreciation or provide value to their customers. You are just a 1-time purchase to them. They spent money on marketing for people to overhype this chair as an S-chair. So they don't care what you think.

Me and my sister and mum went to haworth on a coach trip it was beautiful eveybody where lovely the people in the shops are delightful we went to the bronte family lived . It was lovely and i think kids should learn about them it waes amazing

Take the money but don't deliver. I bought a chair, they charge you on the spot. You don't hear anything for couple of weeks (rather than the 5 days they promise to deliver) and when you ask after two weeks they ask you for the order number. Very poor experience.

This company is a joke. The way how they run their support and dealing with customers is really bad. I have Haworth Zoey chair and I can say the model has a design defect. After two years the back support of the chair broke. After 3 months back and forth they agreed to change my chair. Now again 2 years after the change same element same place same way broke. Definitely it's a design problem since the part is made of plastic and we all know the plastic age. Now again I am Goin the same way back and forth 3 months again and I really regret getting their chair. Their service is terrible slow, chaotic, completely not knowing what they do,

Good chair, horrible customer support. After 2 months I've been called 3 different names, forgotten at least once and have had 0 problems solved
