The collars have been extremely helpful for containing our dogs on our land. They respond well to the boundaries. Our dogs are extremely hard on these collars however and it seems we have to seek replacement collars because they will not continue to charge. Tiffany was very helpful in trying to figure out how to reset the collar and get it to charge. Unfortunately we could not get it working. Replacement collar has been requested.

Our experience with the Halo collar has not been good. I really, really wanted this to work. We are always on the go, traveling to our beach house or camping somewhere in our travel trailer. Unless we are flying, our pets are with us. We loved the idea of having a GPS fence that could be programmed wherever we were. I spent hours training her on it, but when it came time for the outdoor portion, I was so disappointed. The fence lines are very inconsistent and Maple is getting warning and emergency static when she is not outside the fence. Worse than that, she is sometimes halfway in the neighbor's yard before she gets any feedback at all. I reprogrammed and re-configurated the fence, did multiple trouble shooting scenarios, and watched countless YouTube videos. The end result was the same. It was inconsistent, and just confused the hell out of the poor dog. The most frustrating part is that I was determined to make it work, so I did not pay attention to the return window. Now I'm stuck with a $700 investment that I can't use. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Quinterrace helped me verify that the beacon I have and I'm trying to use to train my dog to be safe does not work. This has made training my dog on the collar impossible. He informed me that I could create manual feedback through my phone for my dog for training, which I did not know. However, this is disappointing from a product stand-point (not related to customer service). Why would I want to use manual feedback and how do I trust the boundaries if the beacon doesn't work?

This is a summary of my experiences with Halo for the last few years. Halo has unparalleled customer service. Love the option to chat with support virtually immediately when I have a question. The product itself is incredibly flexible on where we make a fence and how we set the stimulation settings. it also provides good detail on how your dog reacts to the fence, where the dog violated the fence and what severity of violation occurred. Did your dog just walk up to the boundary or did it blow through it is answered by the data. Way more reliable and trusted than any other fence that We've used which includes in-ground wired fence as well as wireless broadcast fences. They both had way too many false positives.
