To say I’ve really struggled with these collars is an understatement. Went through all the training and set up the fence. My dogs were used to their previous invisible fence so it was a smooth transition for them. But the satellite is so unreliable and giving my one dog emergency boundary feedback when she was laying inside. This was happening MULTIPLE times a week. My dogs were so terrified after about six months we stopped using the system all together to give them a mental break. Until recently, trying to connect with a human on the dog park was impossible. I waited 4 1/2 hours on one occasion and then gave up. I did get through one other time and the woman sent me beacons that I now have to have on my property as well because a metal structure could be giving the incorrect location on the dogs!? I live in a suburban area with almost an acre of property. The houses here are not sitting right next to each other. Anyways after spending all the money on the collars and the system we decided to try them again. I went onto the dog park and was connected with Jacqueline (who was very kind and helpful), helped me set the GPS setting on the collars. This has helped…so far. Our dogs are still terrified of the collars and we only put them on when they are outside. If I could go back I would have just upgraded my in-ground system. I would not recommend this system. The support staff is helpful when you can contact them. I regret the investment.

I purchased this collar directly from the Halo website. I have a husky mix with horses and other animals. I thought it would be a great training aid to help keep her from the horses and from running away if a back gate got left open. It was perfect for a week. Then the problems started. The GPS suddenly shows her outside the fence and gives her static correction when she is in my house. This happened on two different days. Collar had 64% charge, but turned off and would not turn back on. Customer support "dog park" was pretty much impossible to get in touch with. I set an appointment for over a week away, but by that time I was so upset and frustrated that I returned it. This is not a training aid at all!

it has been wonderful having the collars for our two dogs. It gives us such peace of mind to know where they are all the time and that they’re safe. thank you for bringing such a wonderful product to market that allows you to truly enjoy your time with your dogs.

I recently called due to my halo not powering on, after being on the call for just a few minutes a hard reset was done and the halo was working again. The customer service was great as always. I cant say enough good things about this company. First of all the product is amazing it helps to keep my dog safe and gives me peace of mind always knowing exactly where he is located. On top of that i purchased my halo 2 on Oct of 22 and last month the charger port got damaged and of course my 1yr warranty was up but they extended my warranty and sent me a halo 3 with the new magnetic charger to replace it. Halo is a great company with amazing customer service. Thank you!!

I appreciate the training videos, and like how the collar is fairly accurate. The GPS isn’t 100% spot on, and it reacts slowly sometimes, but it always works. My dog goes maybe 20 to 40 feet beyond the boundary I create, then the color goes crazy and sent me notifications, and then the dog always comes back. So overall very happy with the color. As far as training indoors, it’s more challenging, but I like the technology and how it works.

It was very easy for me to select what I needed to get support. Jackie was extremely helpful in helping me navigate through the process and solve my problem.

I have been using the Halo collar for about 5 months. Unfortunately in that time I have had to replace the collar twice due to technical malfunctions. When the collar works it is a great tool. My dog learned his boundaries quickly following the guide provided and I have used the fences when we travel and they work great. While I'm not 100% satisfied with the technology in the collar I received the benefits still outlay the hassle of having to replace the collar twice and I will continue to use the system. I also want to mention the dog park team is another incredible value included with the halo collar. The team has always been very responsive and knowledgeable about the product.
