worst customer service. Once put me in a discount camping card and I had to pay for roadside assistance. Wouldn't rebate my money. Now said I was expired with zero notifications to me. Customer Service was useless. would never recommend this company

This company is devious, not professional and so disorganized plus terrible CS! Sole my money, didn't even provide a membership card, so can't even use. Very dishonest company and no true rewards. Stay clear!

Worst service, My son needed to get tow at Sunday morning and he needed to pay $140 dollars up front because there is no open motor shop where they can tow my vehicle to. I believe during this time of the day the only safe immediate place is my house. Customer service said My membership doesn’t cover towing any vehicles to my house. Don't waste money… they will make your tough time even harder. They are not Good Samaritan.

⭐ Very Disappointed in Good Sam Extended Service Plan — Think Twice Before Purchasing I am extremely disappointed with Good Sam Extended Service Plan and the way my claim has been handled. I purchased extended coverage to protect myself from unexpected and expensive repairs to my RV. When my original air conditioner failed, I discovered that the unit was discontinued and the necessary replacement parts were obsolete and unavailable. This was completely outside my control. I had no choice but to replace the unit. I did not upgrade my system or go looking for something better. I chose a basic replacement with the same BTU capacity to get my RV air conditioning working again. The replacement cost me $2,326.45 out of pocket. After submitting my claim and appealing the decision to the review board, I was initially told that Good Sam would only offer $300. I have yet to see that payment. I have now spoken with a representative to dispute the decision, but the conversation was frustrating and unproductive. Rather than working with me toward a reasonable resolution, I was repeatedly told that I had selected the wrong coverage plan and that the situation was out of their hands because the original equipment and parts were obsolete. Let me ask this: How is it my fault that a manufacturer discontinued a product and made the necessary parts unavailable? I didn't cause the air conditioner to fail, and I certainly didn't make the decision to discontinue it. I understand that service contracts have terms and conditions, but as a paying customer, I expected a company that advertises protection to at least make a reasonable effort to help when a covered component fails and replacement parts are no longer available. The entire purpose of purchasing extended coverage is to have some peace of mind when something goes wrong. Instead, I have been left with a significant bill, an unresolved reimbursement issue, and a very poor customer service experience. I am now pursuing this matter through the chain of command and requesting that a supervisor review the decision. My advice to fellow RV owners: Read the fine print carefully and ask very specific questions about discontinued equipment, obsolete parts, and replacement options before purchasing a Good Sam Extended Service Plan. Don't assume that having coverage means you'll receive the protection you expect when you actually need it. I am extremely disappointed in how this has been handled, and based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend Good Sam Extended Service Plan.

Paid for three year elite membership used them 3 times in 2 years and cancelled my membership,for to many calls….embarrassing didn’t even get a letter in mail and left me stranded offer to help if I pay for call. Slimy business practice this company is criminal and should be shut down for fraud.

I have had this service for a year and a half. The company claims the service is unlimited. But the company cancelled my service because me and my family used it too much. We used the service about 6 times in 6 months That is considered too much. That is false advertising and a scam!

To say I’m frustrated doesn’t even begin to describe how angry I am. I feel we were grossly misled when we purchased our RV and car insurance through Good Sam and National General. In 5 years we filed 1 claim due to storm damage. Without sending an adjuster and using only the photos shared by the dealership we took it to for an evaluation they denied our claim stating the water damage was extensive and not due to a hail damaged and leaking roof. Insured for $30K, paid over $10k in premiums over five years and claim denied. We cancelled all policies to which there response was “we can write you a new policy”. No thank their insurance isn’t worth what we paid. It’s all about the money. Not only did we have a horrid experience with the RV claim, when involved in a hit and run accident (luckily another driver got a picture of the other driver’s tag) so no out of pocket expense whatsoever for repairs…the result a premium increase of $140 per month. So no they are not a good choice for insurance.
