I was selling my xbox to them and they say it's damaged.
The controller is rather beat up, but the console is fine.
But their report doesn't have specfic details and no pics showing what is/isn't wrong with it. It does have the hdmi cable & power cord with it. Such a scam this site has become.
Update: Oct 5, 2026
So i got the console back. checked to see what was wrong with. Turns out the xbox series s has a underplate that slide offs to access the metal housing. so i slide it back on and the corner barely fits back. otherwise no damage to the console. still boots on, runs games.
So becuz of that is the reason why i was offered the damaged quote instead of the fair quote.
pretty much scamming me of a fully working console with now a small cosmetic damage.

We’re sorry for the frustration with your evaluation, and we apologize that we did not include enough detail in the testing report.
Our unpacking video shows that the console housing was damaged when it arrived. The package also had very limited protective bubble wrap. While we cannot confirm when the damage occurred, we highly encourage all customers to pack their devices safely and securely with enough protection to help prevent possible damage during shipping.

Hello Eddie. Thank you for your feedback. We were unable to locate a completed order under your information. Please note that the Xbox 360, released in 2005 and now discontinued, holds no current market value. For this reason, the estimated value is $0.00. Which is the same information you will find in our website. At Gizmogo, we prioritize transparency. If a device has no value, we inform customers before shipping so they can decide whether to recycle or keep it. If you have any questions or would like to check the value of another device, feel free to reach out. We’re always here to help.

WATCH OUT!! Claim that the package was open and missing 2 of the 3 phones!!
Shipped three phones to this company Gizmogo (13771 Norton Ave, Chino, CA 91710) because my wife, myself and daughter got three new ones. Company sends me a video that they only received 1 phone because they claimed that the box was delivered open. I verified with Fedex that they would not deliver an opened box - they tried to say that Fedex meant "wide open". Why would you receive an open box as a business and open yourself to liability?! Also - why wouldn't the thief steal all three phones?? They must really think people are suckers.
I think they are keeping the phones and then having people file claims so they can double dip. I have already contacted the Federal Trade commision and will contact the state attorney's general as well.
UPDATE - FedEx is already issuing a check. This place had the guts to send me stills of video taken from when they received the package from FedEx and from when they processed my package at their facility and it clearly shows that IT WAS TAPED UP!! Confirms that they STOLE my phones and lied to me.

Hello Steve,
We understand the concerns raised regarding the recent shipment. Upon receiving the package, we followed our standard protocol of recording the unpacking process. The package arrived with only the top side sealed, while the bottom side was not taped properly—it was simply folded into an X-pattern. We found only one phone inside. The recording was sent to the customer.
We immediately initiated an investigation with FedEx, who has acknowledged responsibility for the missing devices and is processing a reimbursement.
As a company that handles high-value electronics, we prioritize transparency and accountability. We appreciate the customer’s patience and are committed to ensuring a swift resolution.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hello Linda,
We apologize for the misunderstanding. We want to clarify that Gizmogo is an electronics purchaser and not a retailer. We buy used electronics, not sell goods. However, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you.
The customer service is rude
The customer service is rude. You tell them to send your devices back and well they don’t and still hold onto them for longer after telling you that they would be mailed on Monday so you would receive them two days after that, but they never went out Monday and then one representative who was completely rude. She had five minutes left, but the company was supposed to be open for another 37 minutes, stay away from this company at all possible they try to get your devices give you a quote and then lie to you and say oh well they can only give you this much stay away from. I’m telling you this is the worst company out there and I’ve seen some pretty bad ones , I would stay clear of them. Do not give them your business because they hold onto your devices. I don’t know. I guess the quote changes and bargaining bargain with them where these devices were not cracked not nothing and they said we can only use them for parts you just want to thank you I’m gonna use them for parts only When they’re working devices 100% working devices no scratches no nothing wrong with them in the original container. Might I add they just try to get people because they’re selling your stuff. You must be really hard up so they try to take advantage of that from the door , stay away from this company they

Hello Anthony,
We want to assure you that our primary objective is to guarantee the satisfaction of our clients.
On Friday, your devices were prepared and ready for shipment. However, you contacted our office, expressing uncertainty about how to proceed. We offered you four different options to assist with your order:
1. We can arrange for the return shipment of your devices.
2. We can wait until the 15-day probation period that you have left with Verizon is over.
3. We can pay the full amount if you provide your purchase receipt.
4. We can purchase the devices for parts.
Upon returning to our office on Monday, we discovered a review on BBB alleging that we were withholding your devices and refusing to pay you the full amount, only parts. We would never compel any of our customers to proceed in a manner they are not comfortable with. We have explained to you several times that our policy does not allow us to purchase devices that are still under contract with a carrier.
Under no circumstances would we retain your devices or force you to proceed in a manner that would leave you dissatisfied. Despite the inappropriate language used during our conversations and your discourteous behavior, we maintained our professionalism and continued to provide you with the best customer service. However, you began sending messages to us through WhatsApp, live chat, and email. On one platform, you requested payment, while on another, you asked for your devices to be returned.
Not to mention the numerous threats to sue us and report us. We had to ensure we were proceeding the correct way, which was made very difficult due to the confusion caused by the numerous different messages requesting different things.
However, we have returned your devices, and they arrived today, 3/15/2024, at 12:22 pm. We apologize if we were unable to purchase your devices. Nevertheless, we will consistently offer a variety of options to our clients, enabling them to make the decision that most effectively meets their requirements.
Thank you.
Bad Experience All Around
I sent them a Google Pixel 5 in original packaging with manuals adapters the works in good condition with one minor scratch. They offered me $76. When they received the phone they changed the offer to $32 made up some lies about my phone having many deep scratches. I tried to negotiate the price with them and they wouldn't negotiate.
For reference a Broken Google Pixel 5 sells for $70 on eBay right now mine was fully functional.
A Fully Functional Google Pixel 5 Sells for $100-300 Depending on Conditions like Carrier, Is it Unlocked, and what accessories it comes with.
I asked them to send it back since we couldn't come to a deal, they just kept offering $32
They sent back just the phone without the original packaging, or accessories.
Then I left a Negative Review, so they Contacted me to Remove the Negative Review, Offered to send me back the Original Packaging and Accessories.
I told them I would not remove the Negative Review because it was Deserved, The entire experience From Start to finish was bad. I don't even care about the money I was actually testing this Service for Potential Affiliate Promotion on my YouTube Channel "Ginger Gaming Mentor"
After The Service I received I can't in good conscience Recommend This Service.
We are now 38 Days into this Deal, I still don't have the original packaging back for my phone which is now on the way only due to the negative review I left.
The Original Offer Was low, The Subsequent offer was insulting, It was not clear at all negotiation would even be involved from the original interaction which made the entire process take a much longer time than it should have. Once the negotiation Started they never actually Negotiated they would just state their offer, and that's it over and over. When they Returned the Phone finally, It was missing the Manufactures box and accessories I packaged it with.
The sad thing is 39 days later I am still dealing with this crap.
Quick and painless this is not.
I highly Recommend you avoid this company. They Twist the Truth, and make up lies to cover their scummy business practices.

Hello Daniel,
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you have encountered. When you placed your order, you claimed it to be in GOOD condition. However, after inspection, the device had deep scratches and was not in good condition. Our offers are based on a variety of factors, including the phone's condition, market trends, and our own operational costs. We do allow for negotiation within a reasonable range, but ultimately the final price is determined by the actual condition. As we stated before, the device you sent had deep scratches and makes it difficult for us to resell an older phone with cosmetic imperfections since we have to refurbish it.
Upon receiving orders, we dispose of original packaging items due to sanitation requirements and provide new accessories when we resell the device. However, we only became aware of your concern over the missing packaging through the negative review you left prior to this one. We then quickly contacted you and sent over your packaging and adapter, with a FREE charger, and provided you a tracking number via email. We strive to offer the best solutions to our customers, so if there are any inconveniences, we encourage you to contact us via phone call or email first.
Our main priority is to keep our customers happy.
Thank you for understanding.
Don't deal with this company
This company sent what I considered a lowball figure for a device, but I went with it because they seemed honest and straight forward.
I was given an estimated price of $50.00, sent the device and didn't hear from them saying they received the device and it under review until I filed a complaint with the BBB.
They then responded saying the device wasn't the device described to be sold, but the item was exactly as described in the about settings and the device as registered with the company when purchased.
When the company did respond saying that device was not the same device and the device was now valued at $30.00. I called to find out the reason and why they didn't properly respond, I was told the reason for the reduced amount and in fact the email was wrong and the price was now $17.00. The reduced price was probably a result of the BBB complaint.
This company puts on a good front but are really scammers. While I see lots of 5 star reviews, other review sites have claimed they post false reviews themselves.

Hey Greg, I was actually the person who was in contact with you, I did inform you that the models weren't the same than you actually said you had but we were willing to work with you. Also, I spoke to you before the complaint was made and from what I recall you were being rude and didn't want the device back. I can insure you that all our reviews are from customers that have been in contact with me, we did have a customer service change during the time you sent in your device, so I do want to apologize for the wait, however I can insure you that has been changed since then, and we actually spoke again after this review and you were satisfied with the payout. Once again I do apologize for any inconvenience but we are a small business and we are doing out best to help all customers. Thank you
