I was two weeks in the Ginosi Apartels in Chicago (747) and didnt have problems.. the price was very good when you compare with other hotels in Chicago.. also the building seemed brand new... friendly staff... They give a code to enter the building and apartment (there is a code lock on apartment and building door) which is really convenient (you dont have to carry or worry about keys). The building is not in the center but only a 10 minute ride away with the metro (one street behind the building). I would stay here again.

My fiancee and I have been staying with Ginosi Apartments in Washington, DC since December. I am working on a 6 month project and wanted to be very comfortable without signing a formal lease. Ginosi has been GREAT! I was very nervous when I read some of the reviews. Upon arrival I quickly realized what the people in the reviews were talking about. They are all little whiny babies. Honestly, the place is GREAT for the money. I didn't experience any stained beds, I haven't seen a bug, and the space was pretty darn clean. All of the staff that I have had interactions with have been very nice. We even had a Regional Manager stop by and make sure we didn't need any additional toiletries since we were staying for a long period of time. Regarding the cleaning fee, GET OVER IT! They offer you an entire apartment at a great rate. The $120 fee seems to be very worth it. They clean an entire apartment, and the seem to do it very well. I think people really give these people a hard time.

My husband and I reserved this apartment in DC for our wedding anniversary. It was last minute because we changed our minds on where we wanted to spend our anniversary. We made the reservation on a travel site, and after the reservation was confirmed, we received an email from a 3rd party entity (not the one we had booked the apartment through). I became concerned and looked up Ginosi. The reviews had us very worried. There is a no cancellation policy which made things worse. BUT.... I have to say, sometimes you just have to see for yourself. THE SERVICE WAS WONDERFUL!! THE APARTMENT WAS CLEAN AND IT SMELLED WONDERFUL!! The worst part was that the refrigerator was not working and the sink was clogged up. My hubby got the fridge to work and first thing in the morning the maintenance man came and fixed the sink. (A previous renter had stuck coins in the sink!! Some people). We are hoping for a refund for the first night, we had to try to keep our food cold (we took food to cook during our stay). To be honest, we have stayed in top billed 5 star hotels and had to deal with much worse! The location was prime! The amenities were wonderful! It was quite! The view from the roof was exceptional! The staff was friendly and available! I am glad that we did not take the loss and stay somewhere else. Thanks to our stay, we are actually looking into possibly moving into one of the units permanently! Different strokes for different folks I guess. I am glad there was no tv in the bedroom, we actually slept and rested well. I didn't mind not having cable, it forced us to get out and enjoy our time away!! I think they have a good thing going!!!!
