Eversource decided to „estimate” the usage on my house, that was sitting vacant on the market to an absurd amount. They are saying a small (1500 sq ft) unoccupied home ran up OVER 1000 kWh on its own. There is ONE device on, a single window unit set to EIGHTY DEGREES. There is absolutely no way the electric was run up. I have called to demand a real reading already, they said they would. I heard nothing back, and today received a charge for the original amount billed. I am demanding Eversource re-assess this absurd claim of usage. We can see the previous month where the house was also vacant on the market (June), they did a real reading and the usage was HALF of what they’re claiming. Eversource is a greedy company intent on scamming everyone it can. I have attempted to reach out via customer support and opened several tickets to attempt to get the billing corrected, and this morning received a notice Eversource is taking the full amount out of my bank account. I have filed complaints with the BBB and the MA DPU.

I wanted to speak to someone about inconsistent bills. I Called the customer service number, had to listen to many automated promotional messages then waited 20 min to speak to a live person. Agent was pleasant, listened and began setting up a Service Call and she dropped off call after 25 minutes of discussing our problems. Started the process again, listening to promotions, waiting 20 min. Nothing was documented from previous 25 min call. We Set up service at my house for 0800 the next day. Waited till 0845, called, listened to promotions, waited 20 min to find out I should have been informed the service would be 0800-1200 window. Delivery Charges are excessive, paying for services I have nothing to do with ie Electric Cars, Solar Energy. ALL Eversource operating costs are pushed to the customer. Extortion at its finest. The Eversource CEO makes $13.5 million per year after giving himself a 19% pay raise.

Eversource is failing to manage trees over and close to power lines. A massive limb fell last month and created a massive mess and expense. Another limb is about to fall and they refuse to address it.

Truly wish I could give a lower review, my power along with the people on my street has been out for just over 23 hours now. It is hot outside and almost impossible to get sleep due to the heat. They must all be on vacation doing absolutely nothing. My worst regards to eversource. Most of them probably are still in training.

It was nice I’m a super nervous person over call and a man named Robert was kind and helped me out I enjoyed this call oddly enough even though I hate making calls like this so thank you Robert

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST ! My son has a medical condition and somebody cut my power off and it was supposed to be the apartment next to mine ! Its been 17 hours AND I STILL HAVE NO POWER , nor was i able to speak with somebody to get an update ! Worst elcerticity company ever !

Just trying to take over the service at a new house I bought and can’t get them to save my spot in the queue and call me back as their system says they will. Now, third day trying, I’m just going to sit on the call forever until someone answers and can help me. I tried to use their online tools but the address lacked out a message to call them for help. Immediately knew this was going to suck.

Just heard they want to increase all ready to high electric bills by 11%. It’s sad the greed is unbelievable. How bout I just direct deposit my check to Eversource and give you a lung and kidney.
