Eversource EnergyReviews of eversource.com

Truly a joke of a company all about them selfs. With a medical order in place still being treated as a very non important client. Ct needs to do something about letting another power company apart of this because these people cannot handle their demand! Promise one thing and always another

Horrible.!!! Always raising rates, yet they make Billions Each Year. Greedy, Greedy. Greedy. Company.

One hour wait time for a representative. Complete joke. They would have no customers with this kind of response. Absolutely disgusting. Too bad it's the only game in town and there are no other choices. They shut off our electricity because our payment was $25 off the past due amount. They suck!! Can't imagine working for this crappy company. Cheryl in West Virginia however, was spectacular. She understands what service means. She does not envy her position as she has to deal with similar situations all day long. This should go to management (if they have any) to attempt to improve service, but I highly doubt it.

They want us to get smart transmitting meters. If you refuse you will be charged a monthly fee. Do not get Eversource’s they are disgustingly money hungry company. Don’t care about anyone’s health just plain ol cruel

If I had a choice in electric services, I would choose someone else. At the moment they are trying to squeeze an extra almost $200 from me. They charged my bill, I paid it, their records show it was paid, my bank shows it was paid, my current bill has a previous balance of $0, and yet, I’ve started to receive notices from them threatening to discontinue my service. When I spoke to one of their agents, they were quite rude, and said that they could see everything that I’m seeing, but if I don’t pay that past bill, they’ll shut off my power. The bill that everyone can see was already paid! So it’s either pay them the $200 twice or lose my electricity in the Northeast in the middle of October. What a horrible way to do business. Added: their threatening automated calls have now gone from once daily to 4 in the past two hours since this review was posted. If that’s not retaliatory, that’s some crazy coincidental timing.

Called with a downed line hanging in the road, no emergency button to directly speak to someone. Sat on hold for 25 minutes hearing how i could get assistance with my payments (no thanks).. woman answered with no sense of urgency rambling her assisted payment speech like i didn't just hear about it 20 times waiting on hold. Eversource customer service is so slow and unhelpful. Do better Eversource, Dissapointed is an understatement!

Absolute crooks who don't care about anyone! DO NOT RENT OR OWN IN THIER ZONE THEY SHOULD BE CRIMINALLY CHARGED FOR WHAT THEY DO TO PEOPLE. ESPECIALLY VETERANS AND CHILDREN.

Eversource decided to „estimate” the usage on my house, that was sitting vacant on the market to an absurd amount. They are saying a small (1500 sq ft) unoccupied home ran up OVER 1000 kWh on its own. There is ONE device on, a single window unit set to EIGHTY DEGREES. There is absolutely no way the electric was run up. I have called to demand a real reading already, they said they would. I heard nothing back, and today received a charge for the original amount billed. I am demanding Eversource re-assess this absurd claim of usage. We can see the previous month where the house was also vacant on the market (June), they did a real reading and the usage was HALF of what they’re claiming. Eversource is a greedy company intent on scamming everyone it can. I have attempted to reach out via customer support and opened several tickets to attempt to get the billing corrected, and this morning received a notice Eversource is taking the full amount out of my bank account. I have filed complaints with the BBB and the MA DPU.
