Worst litter box ever! The parts are flimsy and cheap. First of all we cannot even get it to work and my husband is a mechanic, so he’s very tech savvy. I tried to return it but their customer service only responds with send a video. So we did after all their trouble shooting instructions. So even after that they said we have to pay to return and get $50 deducted from the original price for shipping. So I will lose around $100 towards shipping on their defective product. Worst customer service and warranty ever!!

The overall concept is a must have in the home. This particular is more of a cheaper end model. Their service experience could improve, you'll only get through by email and photos. There's red foam pieces that get inserted in the inside wall to prevent cat liter going out the side holes. My cat loved to remove these a d nothing locks them in. But aside from that, my cat loves it, it's a much better look than most litter boxes, and a breeze to dump the filled receptical compartment and replace the trash bag that goes with it.

I was tired of scooping cat litter. I found this online and for the price being half the liter robot I thought why not? My cast wouldn't touch it for the 1st week. They didn't like the liter I got thru them. Once I did a half and half my one cat decided it was ok. My other cat still was not convinced. I took my 2nd liter box away and thankfully she started using it. Pros: It's quiet so it won't scare your cats. Much better than scooping poop 2 or 3 times per day. You just pull the bag out tie it up and toss it out. Bags are equivalent to buying genie bags. The app shows when and how long your cats spent in it. I like the light on at night. You can turn the light off. Cons: You can only use a certain amount of liter too much and the rake won't go thru the litter. It's gonna take a minute to figure out the right ratio. The app is ok. For some reason the only glitch I have is the app shows the cat litter as being low even if I just filled it. I feel like I can smell the litter a bit more than I could before. Customer service not very helpful. I had asked what happens if my cats won't use it. They said it could be returned but I would have to pay shipping. No way this thing isn't light weight. Other than that it works as it should. I haven't had any issues with the liter box not working so far. I would recommend using arm and hammer slide liter. It doesn't stick to the box and it is very fine. If you dont want to spend 600 bucks on the higher end units then this will work just fine for you.

I love the Elspet cat box. I don't like the litter they offer. My cat won't use it. Other than that I give it a 5 star rating. I've had it for about 6 months now.

This automatic pooper scooper is life changing! Two of my three cats have a love affair with this machine. The third one...not so much as she is a very picky cat who has had to endure lots of change lately. The two who love the scooper are new adoptees and have brought stress to my older kitty. BUT...I have worked out a solution so that the two have their special space and the older kitty has her own space with a traditional box and this makes her happy. Elspet...keep up the innovations...One suggestion is provide instructions on how to easily provide periodic maintenance.

I purchased the Elspet machine along with a supply of Elspet mixed tofu litter. I had no problems setting up machine but the Elspet litter is a poor match for this machine. Little tracking but waste was broken up if it was scooped up and dumped in the waste tray. The waste tray stunk the whole room up when you open the door to look and to see if any one of my seven adult cats used it. Maybe a different litter may work better but now it sits in the corner unused. I have two litter robot 4 that are used constantly with no problems.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! If I can give zero stars I would and I would not recommend this Els Pet Litter Box. The one I received has had continual problems and pretty much stopped working properly. I have contact Els Pet, via email as there is no other way to contact them, about the issues I am having with mine. For the past 3 days I have been asking, pleading and now demanding a return label so I can give this horrible litter box back to them and get a refund. I have sent video and pictures as they requested, but all they do is keep asking me to troubleshoot the issues. I have done nothing but troubleshoot the issues since I got and it still malfunctions and won’t work. They are not sending me the return label and as customer they just don’t care if their product is defective, even with a 90 guarantee. I have 6 cats and 4 litter boxes. I clean them daily and at the end of the week I scrub out each litter box. I do the same with the Els Pet litter box, but it still will shut down and give the red indicator light that there is a problem. So be warn if you have issues with this litter box and want to return it they will not send you the return label to do so. They give you 10 days from the time you request a return to mail it back in the original box, but it’s kind of hard to do when they won’t send the return label. All you get is a runaround. Their customer service is horrible and apparently they don’t care. And to add insult to injury they send me this email that contains a request to write a review on the litter box. So here is my review !!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY !!!

Love our Elspet! So easy to put together. Took Honda a couple days to adjust but loves it now. Clean up so much easier and no smell!!
