EGOReviews of egopowerplus.com

i bought a Ego blower, trimmer and lawn mower for my daughter because she has a hard time starting gas yard stuff, from ACE hardware, i myself have a honda lawn mower and stihl blower and trimmer, all gas, the Ego lawn mower, blower and trimmer OUTPERFORMS all of my gas yard tools, no messing with gas oil starting problems etc with EGO. The batteries, 6ah, are more than enough to do a average yard without charging, my daughter Loves her EGO lawn tools!

Decided to go electric for my outdoor tools, bought the back pack blower, used for approximately 3 weeks,STOPPED WORKING?,did all the online stuff and found a local ECO repair tech. 10 days later they decided to send a new blower.Thats fine. Then I bought a self proppelled lawn mower, this is my second year with it. For some reason now...ALL the lights stay on,battery light, headlight, indicator light??? Only way to turn them all off is to take out battery. Now trying to get it serviced and fixed,brutal,$1600.00 in 2 items and have had nothing but trouble.SO FRUSTRATED

Customer service is horrible, The fellow, I was speaking to barely spoken English and was wanting to argue with me. I have two blowers the first one I had quit working four times. I would have to take photos and then it would take a week or two before I received the product. I just recently purchased 765 CFM blower. It quit working in three months. Now I have to take the blower the charger and the battery to Lowe’s to be shipped Out to Egos Service technician. So I’ll probably be left without a blower for a month. What an inconvenience don’t waste your money don’t buy ego.

First off, battery does not last as long as stated. I have the ego self propelled lawn mower. Does does not cut grass very well. I have an issue with the self propelled unit motor. Does not want to disengage completely at times. Cut my lawn 3 or 4 times and every time had to push mower to allow battery to last at least 30 minutes. I feel the machine does not live up to the standards or abilities stated by EGO. I have had the machine 45 days, so probably to late to return.

I spent 29 minutes giving serial numbers. Model numbers on the battery, the weed eater the charger. And then she tells me. I need my receipt, which I purchased 4 years ago. Are you kidding me !!!!! I know I registered when I bought it, which is like 3 years ago and guess what they have no records. The lady who took my information couldn't copy it down when I read it off to her. She had all kinds of problems she got my name wrong twice after I talked her for 10 minutes this is the most incompetent company I have ever seen in my life. I'm sorry I ever bought anything off Lowes cause E go lawn equipment sucks !!!!! What ever you do don't buy anything E go it's nothing but junk ! By the way I called 5 days in a row spending 20 mins each day I gave up Don't buy anything from E go.

Well I love the Overall Weed wacker 1510T but the issue is with getting the most common replacement parts at where it was purchased at Lowes. My bump feed line bottom ball end cap flew into 3 different areas of the driveway along with the spring which i recovered and figured ok just go back to lowes and buy 1,wrong lowes doesn't offer any replacement parts so go home call ego customer service and the company doesn't supply parts so off to another site they provided only to be told there out of stock with no date available. Finally after 3rd site I ordered 2 but can't ship for 8 days...Now thats pretty sad so I went and bought a Craftsman and Lowes provides all replacement parts (Common Parts) if something simple breaks during working on yard. Very Sad for EGO to have no Immediate replacement parts for customers to buy today!!! Ego fails in my world and the customer service lady simple kept saying " I understand" do you really??? So Sad!!

the batteries Won't Last a Year I Registrar the batteries when it was sent to ME.EGO customer service is a stressful experience they won't send me a new one. I also have EGO Snow Blower the products are not worth buying.

I am evaluating EGO based on owning five EGO products for over five years. EGO products perform generally well when in service. The downside is dependability based on three defective blower backpacks (since removed from market), faulty switch on hedge cutter (recalled), line trimmer where variable speed did not work out of the box and three failed batteries within 12 months. I fell into the trap of buying different garden tools from the same brand for charger and battery consistency. This was throwing bad money after bad money - mistake. As many other have written, EGO customer service can be excellent or extremely poor (worst I have experienced) with the latter being most common. I am purchasing a new battery lawn tractor and will not consider EGO. My recommendation is to avoid EGO at all costs.
