If the only thing you can see is a status that says the check is “complete” with no supporting details, it’s completely reasonable to ask what was actually searched and what the results were. It also shouldn’t take multiple attempts just to reach a real person, and it’s not okay that after you explained the issue, you didn’t get a clear response to your question about what was found. And if you were told a copy of your report would be emailed to you right away, waiting four days with nothing showing up (even though you confirmed they have the correct email) is unacceptable. I understand why that would leave you feeling like you paid for something you didn’t receive. I want to look into this personally — both why you’re only seeing a “complete” status and what happened with the report delivery after support said it would be sent. Updated March 18, 2026: In the meantime, you can access your Checkr Personal report right now without waiting for an email: Navigate to the portal (http://candidate.checkr.com/). Enter the required information as you entered it when ordering the report. Once logged in, click on "Complete" to view the report details. Once the details load, you can also click Download PDF to save the report. When you're viewing your report, you will see different statuses. "Complete" on certain searches (like a National Criminal Search) means a pointer search was run. Those searches are designed to identify if jurisdictions may need a closer look. When you then try to escalate and don’t get any meaningful acknowledgment, I understand why it feels like there’s no accountability. If chat is the only support option presented in that moment, it has to actually help you move forward. You’re also right to flag how alarming it is to then see a final report marked with red flags indicating the background check wasn’t completed, when the actual problem could be from the form not saving your entries. I understand why that would feel like it puts your opportunity at risk for reasons outside your control.
