The chair sounds like its off tack or not connecting it make a loud bumping sound something is seriously wrong and then have asked the supplier to replace it and they are not getting back to me. HME is the supplier

Bruno and their dealerships restrict the secondary market for their equipment to reduce consumer choice and buying power. Warranties are not transferable, replacement parts aren’t sold to consumers, and their dealers do not accept any type of restocking in the event that the equipment was never used (user passes shortly after installation). Because stairlift purchases are often during times of desperation, Bruno and its dealers can get away with this. In other industries, such a dealership model with restricted secondary markets has been found to be an anti competitive measure as it hurts consumers. Please explore all of your options before using this manufacturer and its dealer network. Your purchase’s resale value is greatly diminished by these measures. Edit: thanks for the reply. I agree with safety being paramount, and the dealership model helps with that. However, Bruno’s policy is to restrict warranty transfers to a secondary buyer even in the case that all work is performed by a factory certified technician at a dealer. Bruno’s strong belief in the dealer network should be evidenced by trust in a trained dealer’s reinstallation of your product. Instead, this policy shows mistrust in your dealer network to safely install a product. This warranty restriction is an important consideration for potential consumers of your product

Stairlift Rental From Bruno I rent a straight stairlift from Bruno with all power functions. I keep getting issues with the folding rail. It was fixed multiple times. Finally I asked them to remove folding rail. The tech did not leave enough brackets to support the rail, so now I have 4 steps with no brackets. Scheduled for a tech to come in today Monday but no one showed up. I called them and they give me appointment early in the day another day when I have to be using the stairlift but I can’t. I haven’t been using stairlift for 4 days now as there is a cracking noise when I am on that part where there are no brackets. Very poor customer service their end. Not happy with them at all. I wouldn’t use this company.

The quality is not as good as the 2010 model that was still running that I had to replace. Replaced the old one because Bruno stopped making motor/parts for it. I've had multiple hip replacements and can't risk being caught in an emergency w/no stairlift. The new model is lower quality, ugly, slow, and chair doesn't fit my body as well. Only bought it because there were more companies that could service it.

My lift won't charge unless I stand there and hold the seat back. I have had a serviceman out and he replaced some wheels that run along the track and the batteries. The unit only charged correctly for about a week. There is still a lot of slack between the seat and the contact to the rail. The tech didn't seem to know how to adjust this. I have been without a lift for 2 months. Is there an adjustment for this? When it's working I like the lift. I'm in Canada.

The stairlift is great. Good construction and good design. We appreciate your product and thank you for the good engineering which helps my wife move up and down our stairs with ease. The installer did a great job and was very professional in his work and his dealing with us. Thank you for the life even though it was expensive and took much of our savings. But it works and that is what we needed. God bless your company and product! David Shisler

My two year old Canadian HME-installed Bruno Elan PFR power bar has stopped running properly after two technicians have worked on it on 2 different days. They changed the cct board both talking to your tech in Wisconsin. The system was lubricated in Apr.2021 , worked fine then but by Sept.2021 early speed of operation was reduced to near inability to lift itself up. It is like this right now and declared “need to replace” by HME tech. I paid $1500 Ca. plus, now, $204 Ca.lub. fee’s so far, and I have two more bills showing $204 each which HME have so far “waved”. STATUS right now; 1) works at half speed, 2. Declared as ;-needs replacement, 2.Your warranty-2 years, now over. The rest of my two stair lifts by Bruno work just fine, and still do. The slow-mo PFR irks me however, as we are in a small townhouse with exposure to the bottom extension to be a tripping hazard in small space. HME says I have to pay for new installation, unless I accept the slow-mo operation I still have for this PFR. What say you?

I thought I was getting a deal and they said they would buy it back for any reason paid 6,000 it went to 1,500 never used a week later beware A I
